You are right, there are quite a few big companies using Dojo Toolkit (although, to my defense, the homepage doesn't link to the Users page, but to the Spotlight page instead, on which the number of featured websites isn't even close to the real number of companies using Dojo).
However, being used or not on big sites shouldn't be a reason to use the Toolkit or not. I have to give it to you, I've heard only good things about the Toolkit. I am sorry and I must admit, the reasons I gave for cutting Dojo off the list were rather shallow, when the real reason was that I'd never worked with Dojo before - there are so many great frameworks out there, yet so little time to learn, or even try, them.
