Ah yes, good catch Mariusz. I have updated the code yet again to set the #mover width with the JavaScript, so no adjustments are needed there.

@Danny - Correct, you need to put that iimage-browser.php file in wp-admin and leave the plugin file in the plugins folder.

Chris Coyier : Some Quick Lessons I Learned While Moving Servers

It was a manual migration, so I don't know what they were waiting for if they did wait to flip the switch. The thing was, it was only an INTERNAL change, since the DNS servers actually stayed the same (both pointed at media temple). The server was ultimately at a different IP so something had to change, but only internal to media temple not worldwide. Plesk hasn't been so bad actually, it's just a lot rougher around the edges than back on grid-service. Media Temple has their own custom back-end for grid-service customers that is really really slick and easy to use.

CSS-Tricks : Prevent iPhone Text Enlargement

In the example in the picture of this article, I'd say the text enlargement is good and looks good. But perhaps you have a couple of buttons on a page that line up side by side, and the iphone is enlarging them and forcing a weird line break, you may with to target those and tell it not to enlarge that text.

I've used that notify-authors plugin before for just that purpose, and it was working in 2.6.3. Did it really break in 2.6.5? That's too bad.

When you change that permalink setting remember that you also need to update the .htaccess file in the root of your WordPress installation. WordPress will try to do it for you, but can't always do it. If this is a fresh install, that file might not even be there, so you may have to create it.

I agree the online viewing of the videos is not ideal. I really recommend subscribing in something like iTunes or Miro and getting the .m4v version. So your question, yes, iTunes can play them, or I imagine the also free VLC player would have no trouble. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Hey Will, have you used it? It looks pretty interesting, but it also looks like it hasn't been updated in a while. I wonder how far it sinks it's teeth into WordPress to do what it does and I also wonder how efficient it is. I'd love to see a blog actually using it.

CSS-Tricks : The Very First Steps After a Fresh WordPress Install

Hm. This seems like a pretty smart idea! WordPress does tell you if the account exists or not ("Invalid Username"), so might as well leave it there so they know the account exists and keep trying to hack that. I think even smarter is Shankar's comment of restricting access to the login page by IP. I haven't researched or tested either of these ideas yet though so I can't officially endorse them yet, not sure what other implications might arise. It seems a little funny allowing a malicious person into your WordPress admin panels, even if only subscriber access.

Thanks Elliot. I can't even tell you how many people I've referred to that Starkers theme over the months. It's really the only way to go when creating a new theme.

Chris Coyier : Lesson Learned: What Hard Drive NOT to Buy

I wondered myself about the two ports. I can't remember the link right now, but I did google something at one point and read it was for daisy chaining firewire devices. I have not tested this though. That could be pretty darn handy if you could use that extra port to connect another FireWire 800 device.

Yep, firewire. It is very very quiet. Much quieter even with 3 drives in it that my old GRAID was with 2 drives. I'm really digging it so far. I feel much safer.
