Actually, I did absolutely no optimization at all.  Merely blogged about what interested me.  I've participated in a couple of carnivals - once when George W. Bush was capigning for President, and also in a weekly Christian Carnival.  I suspect the linkbacks contributed to the ranking.

But other than that, I've done nothing extraordinary.
