Actually, Lifegrip sounds like the oppertunity for a fun drinking game. Each time a priest has to LG someone out of the fire, each raider takes a sip of vodka.

I wonder how long it would take till the whole raid's to drunk to play? :D

Well, "Big meanie blogger tramples poor baby blogger" or "Baby blogger flounces in attempt to manipulate emotions." make for a much better drama and story than "Blogger made an informed decision to stop blogging". People love their drama. Some people go out of their way to find it. And well...

*shrugs*

I don't think it's about Cranky or Anna anymore. It's now about stories and what story each onlooker wants to believe.

I'm pretty much on your stance regarding this, Tam. It's a rather rational stance on this.

Problem is, many people aren't rational right now. They're upset at what happened - which itself isn't bad; it's just that posts get made while emptions fly high, those post get misunderstood, cause new posts and thus the drama cycle feeds itself. I really don't know what to do about - the good old "Don't post while upset" advice gets really hard to follow when you're really upset. I know that myself.

What I am really sad about now are those people who come out of the woodwork and abuse this issue as pretense of a righteous cause, just to live out their own revenge/power fantasies and/or take down those they percive above them. But of course this could just be my skewed perception. Still, It sucks.

As far as I know - I might remember this wrong but I could be wrong - Vote Kick *IS* going to be instant next patch.

Will it help against dickheads? I doubt it. We might get rid of them earlier, but still.

This is why I am happy to usually run in a tank-healer combo together with a friend, or tank-dps combo. Then I have somebody to quest with or whine at if we have a horrible group. Moral support helps!

I guess reforging too will be a mix out of things you can do for everyone and things you can only do for yourself. That seems Blizzard's usual way to handle professions. :)

Ooh, I'll try the shadow thing - so far I've been playing with shadows off, simply because they don't do so much for WoW's cartoony look and well, higher FPS is higher FPS.

My buddy and I are currently running a tankadin/enhancement shaman combo, so we can't stealth - but rogues and kittys sure are something to keep in mind. I haven't thought about that before. Thank you!

So many people who used to be nice to the other faction, at least until the niceness got taken advantage off... Seems to be a common theme.

<Single Abstract Noun> was a *great* idea - The people there were so nice! Sometimes really feel lonely while questing and co, so having people to chat or just watching people chatting is great, especially when the people are so welcoming :)

Only problem is I'm really busy hunting down Elders on my main right now - argh.
