Oh, and if I may add, as an Elite Yelper who goes out to dinner very frequently with other Elite Yelpers, I have never once seen someone use the threat of a bad review to attempt to get something for free. As with most communities, the Yelp reviewer community is very serious about its integrity so there are certain things that you just dont do; using a review as leverage is despicable, and is reason for being banned from Yelp for violating the Terms of Service. I would encourage any restauranteur who is threatened by a Yelper to immediately report the threat to Yelp.

This article is utterly pointless. Isn't the purpose of of writing/editing to assemble facts in a coherent manner? Just copying and pasting both stories doesn't accomplish anything; although, it is always fun to hear Amy's ranting because it gives her another chance to demonstrate just how detached from reality she is.

It has served as a reminder of what I am really about when I have trouble finding direction or figuring out what strategic decisions I should take. I thing it would be interesting to break it down more and go down to the more tactical level, just like an org would do. I have seen where orgs tend to go wrong in mission statements--usally they either pack them away in a box, or make them so vague that practically any proposal can be forced to fit the mission.
