Amazes me that B-town blog would post such an article that slams Burien Businesses, the very people it takes money from so it can exist. This is sad news not only for Burien Nissan's customers, but for the local economy of Burien as well, as a significant amount of tax revenue flows from car dealers. From our article, which we were *first* to report last Friday (3/13), scooping KOMO by 4 full days [see http://is.gd/nV75]: - lot is basically empty (anyone wanna remake The Omega Man? here's a good location!) - at least 27 employees were laid off - the hauled-away cars were taken to a nearby Port (Tacoma?) and are apparently going to be auctioned off somewhere - Sales Manager John Antonlelli says "it’s business as usual" - no word on when stock may return Also, we posted a second, followup article on Monday 3/16 (see http://is.gd/nV7K) with an explanatory quote from Antonelli. You've got a good point there - I can see how I come across as a hypocrite. Oops. I also just re-read my comment on Horsey's column and dang...what an arrogant ass I am! Geez I don't know what got in to me but I can see why so many people hate me now. Next time I just won't press the "submit" button right away...geez. As for the one-man band thing, I'm bringing in other writers and reporters, and we even have an intern, so let's hope we can keep growing into a real staff. And that I learn something from this entire experience.

Sorry to have offended you "Blogger," and I apologize to anyone else who thinks I come cross as arrogant. I'd like to point out tht it's not "stealing" to attribute and link to a source for a news story - I respect, admire and subscribe to the P-I, and will be sad if/when it goes away. I have hopes that they'll work something out, and at the very least, transition to a full online publication and keep their excellent staff. As for the rest of your comments, I guess the sarcasm font function wasn't working, but I get your point, and would like to reveal that updating this site several times per day by myself does require heavy lifting, and this has now become a full-time, volunteer gig that is a lot of fun.

Lifted directly from a Craigslist response: I can't believe anyone would see this as profiling. How stupid have we become? I use to work for a pizza place, a few actually including the Edgewood/Milton pizza hut. As you can see it's a carryout order. They just didn't get the persons name so they put a note saying who it was for so they know who to wave at or hand the pizza to. It is no different than saying "two guys with hats" or "dude sitting in the red truck out front". You say this is "just nuts". Have you been paying attention to the economy and where this country is going? Something like this pales in comparrison to REAL problems that should be getting more attention. Read about how the Federal reserve works, and tell me a pizza hut receipt is "just nuts".
