I have a bigger problem with name hiders. Just tell us the freaking name already so we can acclimate to it and come to grips with it before we see your kid. Bad enough that I have to pretend the kid isn't ugly, but dropping the fact that you named him "Driver" on me at the same time was too much to handle.

I'm always there for you, just like i was when we watched the Challenger Disaster together back in the 80s.

Oh, and they teased the whole "we'll tell you why they almost got married in the middle of the season" thing and then never mentioned it.

Chantal did deserve better. dangit, i'm ticked about it. If only Brad could yell "do over" and do it over.

two other observations:

1. i never feel worse about myself than the 5 minutes during the finale when the runner-up gets out of the limo, gets destroyed, and then gets back into the limo. awful i feel like a party to it since i watched all season.

2. the elephant in the room in every conversation on this show is the effed up nature of this show. it is designed in such a way to completely destroy the runner up. AND it's designed in a way to completely screw over the winner when they have to watch it back. The Bachelor can't ditch all the ladies when he finds the one, and he cant NOT play along and take them into the fantasy suite. it's a lose-lose, and it's why Bachelors are 0-14 so far (I dont count Mesnick, who is still together, but with the runner up), and it's why the odds are stacked against Brad and Em.

Can't wait for next season!

Brad: I need to say goodbye

yeah, meant to say that this is actually "the greatest television character IN COMEDY in the last 20 years"

interesting for sure. i like the idea that artists are able to retell the truth in their own words. like when a friend is trying to describe how they feel but can't find the words, and you know exactly what they're trying to say and say it for them and they're like, "yes, that's exactly what i was feeling!"

wish i could be out there for CatWest, but there's only so many vacation days a dude can take...

My #1 rule is "However much food I want to scoop into my plate, divide that number and half before scooping". failure to do so has left me with a first plate so full of food, I barely have the strength to get back to the buffet for the second time.

I do, of course, still make a minimum of 3 trips back. But going halvesies up front ensures my ability to get out of bed the next morning.
