Obama is the Commander-in-Chief and as such his first duty should have been to convene with the Army Corps of Engineers, Tactical Commanders of the Navy, Coast Guard and Biological Services, all available Oil Recovery and Mitigation service providers worldwide and Governors of all States on the Gulf, together with BP's CEO and organized a battle plan. Instead he played golf, went to fundraisers, emceed photo-ops with college basketball teams, threw Pop Concerts at the White House and trimmed his toenails. We need leadership Mr. President, not an Event Coordinator. As a little "d" Democrat I am ashamed of your conduct and aloof attitude. It's never been about you Mr. President. Please get over yourself before we all go down on your ship of foolishness.
