Those were men's 42 jeans. I vaguely recall trying on a size 26 in women's at some point, but I wasn't able to pull them up. ;)
I don't currently take any medications, but I am floored to hear about how doing so has effected your weight-loss efforts. WOW!
Bane does not begin to describe it! And that one-legged guy? Just heartless, man.
I have not, but! I did pick up another one of her books last week (and by pick up, I mean I downloaded it to my iPhone). I'll be sure to download W/F/G this week!
Thanks for stopping by and making yourself known. Also, so glad to learn that you are starting your own blog. It has been a giant help to me during my journey -- hopefully it will have the same effects on you. After all, the blogging world is full of some of the most wonderful, caring, kind, and honest (sometimes brutally!) people around. I've linked your blog up to my Google Reader. Can't wait to see what you've been up to.
Wow! Thanks for sharing your story. I will definitely check it out.
So hilarious that you found my blog by Googling 'weight loss + wedgie problem'. The power of The Google is scary, yet humorous! I haven't found the perfect solution yet, but my MOTHER bought me some of those shorty-esque undies at Wally World and they're not too bad. They don't feel like underwear (not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet), but they certainly don't ride up the good 'ole crack. I'll assume that you've read some of the other comments and suggestions my readers and fellow bloggers have left on this post. There are some great ones. Oh, and CONGRATU-FN-LATIONS on losing 107 lbs! Life is good, isn't it?!
Laurie! Sounds like you are starting to make some great choices and I could not be more excited to hear that you had an amazing day. You're right -- it's not always going to be easy, but it doesn't have to be painful either. Just take it one step and one day at a time. Don't worry about yesterday and don't worry about tomorrow. Just stay present and try to make good decisions in the moment. Celebrate the small victories because they will lead to bigger victories. And most importantly: DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU. This is your life. Tailor your journey to your needs. Do what works for you!
Hey! Congrats on running your first 5K! It's something else isn't it? Do you think you'll do another one? Or step it up? 10K? Half marathon? IRON MAN? Shit, I am getting jazzed just thinking about it. :)
