Question for Joel: What happened with the AppleInsider Comic? You did like one or two and that was it. I thought it was funny, which is what brought me to your site. I'm guessing there was some kind of disagreement that happened between you and AI. If it makes you feel better you got at least one new reader out of it! Keep up the good work! :-)

Batman & Robin. Worst. Movie. Ever. Poison Ivy??? Are you kidding me? The only thing that makes that movie bearable is Arnold's crazy accent, oh, and that he's the governor of Cali-forn-ya. Oh, and RiffTrax helped a lot too! That's the best way to watch shitty movies. :-)

BSG is awesome! I'm psyched about the new season. It's been off for so long, I think I might need to watch the last few episodes of season 3 first to remember what the hell is going on. The cornerless paper is a nice touch, it made me giggle. I think I'm going to have to obtain the premier by "some other means", mainly because since we've gotten an HDTV, I've become an "HD Snob" and refuse to watch anything worth watching if it is not in HD. Sadly, we have crappy SD cable and only get our local channels in HD, so that means I download most of my TV. Bit Torrent and Usenet FTW! :-)

Oh, and to show you how big of geeks my roomates and I are, we all have VOIP phones in our room that we can call each other on and we've all been known to pick up the phone when it rings and say in our best impersonation, "Adama!". Now if we could only find some old fashioned looking VOIP phones. hehe.

I am trying to start a tech support and web design business. I've had a few tech support jobs in the past (mostly in the education sector), but I haven't had that kind of job in some time and I really miss it. I've been doing it as a sort of side business based solely on referrals of friends until now, but I'd really like to make it my day job. At some point I'm going to have to quit my "real job" and make the leap and hope it works. *crosses fingers* After thinking about your situation, it seems like being forced into the situation, though scary as shit, might be the motivation people like us need to actually get over the fear and make the leap. Here's to conquering our fear of the unknown....

First of all, good luck! I visit your site almost every day and think your podcast is hilarious. Keep up the good work! I will continue spreading the word for your site. :-) I also am contemplating jumping ship from the workforce and working for myself, so I understand how fucking scary it is. I feel your pain about IE. I've uttered the phrase "Fuck Internet Explorer! Fuck it in the ass!" on more than one occasion. The last frame of the comic made me bust out laughing.
