And replace them with what, Frank? Governement owned collectives?

Jeezus, where do you come from, boy?

The real problem is teachers' unions, ma'am.

And not teaching kids the fundamentals of economics and unadulterated American Hiistory will be the death of this country.

Could be worse. You could live in Chicago.

Wow. Democrats gagging on the idea of new tax revenue. Imagine that.

That's like seeing a buzzard turn down a ripe carcass, walking away saying "That is just too disgusting for me. No thanks."

Some things just don't happen in nature.

Look up Hastert's farmland deal just before he retired. He and a couple of partners bought up a bunch of farmland in northern Illinois, and wouldn't you know, Congress shortly decided to locate a tollway that ran right through most of these properties. Look it up.

As for the chances for a meaningful ban on Congressional insider trading, color me dubious. Most of the people in Congress aren't there to serve their country. They're there to get rich, and most of them do by the time they retire.

As I recall, the ethics charges against Waters are what, 5 years old now? I wonder what ever happened to them?

I've always harbored the opinion that she's got something on somebody else in Congress and has threatened to make them public if they ever hold hearings on this matter.

They sure don't keep her around for her penetrating intellect.

Wonder what ever happened to that Robespierre feller...

It's worth mentioning in passing that the OWS movement doesn't even begin to represent a fraction of1% of this country. They're just a bunch of pathetically naive children trying to attract attention and political power by provoking outrage, egged on by the crazy left, communist losers, anarchists and labor unions. There's no movement at all, and nobody really agrees with their wild-eyed temper tantrum. They have no idea what it is they're screeching about. In the six months they've been acting out, they still have not put together a coherent list of what it is they're complaining about and they have no idea whatsoever what they want. It's just a party for them, and they have no idea how much damage they're causing and how much resentment they're stirring up against them.

This is not a complete diet. They forgot the caffeine, alcohol, nicotine and chocolate food groups, which are important parts of a complete diet..

Probably not a bad candidate, but I sure wish he'd lose those stupid sweaters. Makes him look like his momma dressed him for Sunday School.

Once they see the phrase "dues paying member", that's all that matters. The discussion is over. Then it's time to "fight for the rights of the working man".

I keep waiting for the voters of this country to wake up to the damage that unions are causing to the economy and the moral fabric of this country. They're nothing more than a legally protected extortion racket, and they're killing us as a viable economy, not to mention the twisted contortions they've caused to our legal system.

I despise them.
