Especially because of the greed in the education system. Every year a new edition has to come out of the book.... No new information, just rearranged so that students have to buy the newest edition, and not a used book. I think digital replacements will be similar... the companies that publish the books will surely charge ridiculously high membership fees to access the info contained in the book.
