A lot of people still get confused on email marketing and I definitely am glad to see when others write in their own words how to make it work for them. While I am not much into my email marketing campaigns due to time at conferences, it is definitely on my list to amp up for the new year. And think about it... much of these work for writing excellent blog posts alone. Try using the W3 HTML Validator - http://validator.w3.org/ It should help you with your coding and it pinpoints where your code is incorrect.

About a week left and I am done with this experiment and on with a different service to try out. In the case that Sponsored Tweets as even a basic member will start doing better, I may update in the future, but I am just no happy with how this service has gone for both basic and PRO members.

So far, I have only gotten 1 opp in the past 2 month from ST. I am not happy with them and seems the PRO part is not all that great either. Nearly half way through experimenting with it and nothing.

Definitely. I do not think using an agency from the start is the best unless you have a lot of money to spend to get things going. It is when you can afford it and ready to take a big leap from doing it yourself to focusing on more monetizing methods and socializing with customers or readers.

I really cringe when people approach me and try to sell me a quick fix. I know it will not work and it ranks up there with 75% of those "As Seen On TV" products.... Seemed like a good idea at first, but is not going to work.

You are right, not everyone will agree with every post. Unfortunately, because everyone has their own experiences, opinions, and feelings, sometimes there is a possibility of being hurt. However, I believe as long as the site owner conveys that the post is not to hurt any particular person, that is fine. It is the posts that point out individuals or types of individuals and harshly judges that really hurt. I try to avoid this type of writing as it adds no value to my site.

I delete comments that are spam. There are "nice comments" out there that also contain reference to the topic of the article, but like you, I am really picky and monitor all comments closely. Hmm... not sure why there is a certificate error on the site. Does it say anything else on why? I do not have a SSL on the domain. Thanks for the heads up!

You are right, replying constructively is the way to go. However, it usually takes a few times for most conversations to reach that "agree to disagree" and at least be constructive about it. :)

Juggling everything can be difficult. I have had issues in the past with prioritizing and took to investing in a schedule book, and making sure it does not interfere with family time. My stress is down too... so like you, one less negative thing in my life. The trick is now to keep to that mindset. :D

A lot of people still have no idea what engaging really is. As explained, I found out from clients that they watched videos even from top social media consultants and still have no clue what it means. While they are pumping out their own posts, quotes and such, they are not reaching out to others. The number 1 thing I tell my clients - "I would like to see you engage more with readers and your followers."

The only issue is that just relying on commenting will not always bring in someone to your own blog. It has to be a valuable comment and obviously not all bloggers are going to return comments, especially blog owners who have community blog sites (unfortunate, but I have come to expect it due to their availability to get outside of their usual blog circle. However, yes... "if you don't give, you won't get" ... at least for those bloggers who are wanting to build a great readership and possibly great relationships with their readers, that this is something I also believe in.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Some of the bloggers out there that keep asking me how they can get more traffic- I ask "What do you do to promote your site? Is engaging with people online, including your followers part of it?" You would be surprised still the amount of people that reply, "Oh, I need to start engaging."
