HijiNKS ENSUE - A Geek Webcomic : Welcome To The Rock

WOOT! The interwebs are WINNING! Now if only we could get people to care this much about all political matters... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2087673/W...

HijiNKS ENSUE - A Geek Webcomic : What Is The Deal With Airline Peanuts?

If Seinfeld was around today it would involve all the crazy misunderstanding that happen in the age of the internet. Like Google maps not working right and you ending up lost anyway. Drunk txting the wrong person. Posting a picture of you and your niece and a girl you just started dating won't talk to you because she thinks you hid that you have a child. I think the show would exist. Just a whole new paradigm would exist that would involve someone looking all over uptown for a new iPhone. Also can you imagine the new tech based rants Jerry would have. Oh and you could have Kramer trying to keep his old tech in a new age. Actually I want Seinfeld to come back now... I wonder how much you would have to pay Jerry Seinfeld an episode? 100 million? :)

For being a guy who isn't hard core into his shitty movies I watched Chillerama a few weeks ago and found it to be quite good for humor and cheese. I didn't care for the "I was a Teenage Werebear" as much but over all I liked it. I thought it was far better than Zombie Strippers although I don't know if that means anything. Viva 2012... good thing we don't follow the Mayan calender!

HijiNKS ENSUE - A Geek Webcomic : The State Of The Universe

I think the probability is high that there's other intelligent life in the universe. If you think about the distances involved and the length of a human lifespan and the short time there has been intelligent human life on the planet, it could be just a matter of time until the intelligent alien life shows up but it could easily happen a hundred or a thousand years from now. Because the signals we send out only travel at light speed it could be hundreds or thousands of years before aliens even know we're here.

HijiNKS ENSUE - A Geek Webcomic : The Red And Blue Glasses Of Westmarch

I feel like with any unique film shooting style 3D has it's place and can enhance an already good movie that uses special effects to aid in telling the story. The way Hollywood had thrown that technology at every movie is not what I would like to see from the technology. I feel like converting and shooting every movie in 3D is a mistake. At least Peter Jackson is concerned with the quality of the effects. When done properly 3D can truly help you become immersed in the world that your viewing. Avatar is the exact example that all Studios and Directors should use as to how to apply the technology.

Probably helps that he had original works that he had to keep his movies true to where as King Kong though has been made often over the years is little more than a monster movie. Though it's hard to make many sweeping statements about Peter Jackson's Filmography because since his modern work is largely LOTR and not much else.

Just kind of curious but since its the finest example of 3D I've see did you see Avatar? If that gave you a headache then I would say your probably screwed when it comes to watching 3D.

HijiNKS ENSUE - A Geek Webcomic : Alive In The Superunknown

Last Time I saw Tool it was one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen. They played for nearly 3 hours and the intermission had 2 mostly naked people as life sized marionettes dancing on and above the stage. It was a tad surreal. The kind of experience that makes me wonder if that's what taking LSD might be like.
