Thanks Pop. WOW - very moving. YES, it does. Birth defects are only ugly in the eyes of humanity, after all, God is concerned with the soul, the part made in his image. Or is he? N

Thanks Stan, we appreciate your prayers. Yea, from an eternal perspective, things are much different. I mean, if we believe scripture, it says that creation is now marred with sin - and that manifests itself in many ways. Does this include still-born and birth defects then? N

True, good point.

BUT, the qualification (degree, etc) AFTER the training and education period would give you that credibility. (Jesus taught this simple men for approx 3 years)

I'm not questioning this, but I am questioning WHY some institutions require you to have achieved academically before they consider you for training. Jesus did NOT use this method according to the Bible

<a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%201:%2014-19&version=NIV
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%... />
Regards,

N

DNSLNS : I don't want to do anything big for God... | DNSLNS

Dan - Bro! I love you and this post - it is your MAGNUM OPUS of recent DNSLNS. We share a lot of similarities, including the thoughts that you have so marvelously illustrated here. BRAVO! 10/10. The 'older' Christian ways, or more traditional believers’ methods are becoming more and more attractive to Emily and I. I mean, even the silence and pure reverence that the Quakers express before God is really growing on us! More and more popular writers, Christian, and non-Christian are warning of another reformation. The sooner the better, I'd say. BTW – We must have more of YOU Dan on DNSLNS. That is why I visit. Your questions are good to get the DNSLNS forum packed, but your honesty and journey attract me back here more than anything. Maybe that is just because we are friends, but still, I'd love to hear more from the dark and brutally honest caverns of your sole. Purely and selfishly, to know that I am not ALONE. Love to Maria, and the little guy. N.
