Suckling at the government teat might satisfy the political class, but it starves the rest of us.

Federal involvement in education has been a disaster. You might even call it "racist," in that African-Americans are disproportionately damaged by federal programs.

But state legislators who are seduced by easy Washington money for education threaten to spread the misery even further.

I feel the tide turning on this issue. Once again, tea partier stuck together. I am so luck to have such great support in St. Louis and around the country. If you're a tea partier, you know someone's (many) got your back. http://hennessysview.com/2011/01/11/got-your-back...

I'm with you, Phil. But there is good news. Once again, when confronted with lies, bigotry, and distortions from media, special interests, and government, Tea Partiers stood together.

I just blogged about this today on Hennessy's View: http://hennessysview.com/2011/01/11/got-your-back...

Best analysis I've seen yet. Great work, Mike. I will bookmark this post as my default response to conspiracy theorists. As John F. Kennedy once said, "a secret is something one person knows."

Now if we could make it a policy that our State Department folks tell it like it is, we might not have so many diplomatic crises in the future. John Wayne gave us the perfect language for China in Rio Bravo: "Stop when I say 'stop.' Or I'll stop ya."

You know, a Democrat would at least be shaking down the video game companies for cash. Ah-nold is doing this, seemingly, for the thrill of it all. I thought California had better entertainment choices than civil court. (Somebody buy the Gubernator an XBox 360.)

Thank you, Steve. Let's build that opportunity society Jack Kemp talked about, where we make the pie bigger instead of fighting over the last piece.

Franklin Raines should have been in jail years ago for the corruption he introduced at Fannie Mae. It's no surprise, though, that Obama would force us to buy Raines's products. This is the most corrupt regime in American history.

SEIU wading into terrorism as defined by USC. Perhaps it's time to shut down the SEIU.
