Your third paragraph is centered. Socrates should be capitalized. I thought I recalled this being your second website iteration.

I just can't help but criticize any ego-fest.

It’s not a rap, but does http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vniMR6Ez9cE count?

Very nice! Just like iEye again, but with four more letters. And a little more blue. The same amount of red though—you still look a little too sunburned. That might come out with a little soap, although I’m not sure where you’d put it.

In all seriousness, I’m looking forward to the next one. (Don’t take it personally it it’s not with bated breath—I’ve heard that can be unhealthy for extended lengths of time ending in the last Sunday in November.)

First of all, thanks for responding, you proved my last point perfectly.

1. You're right, and I fixed that. Thanks for pointing that out.

2. While I see where you're coming from, I don't agree with you. The main thing I look at is the rules of pronunciation; without their diacritics, facade would be pronounced "fackade," uber as "ubber," a la as "uh la" or "eh la," and so on. And just because a word is in the dictionary doesn't mean it's appropriate for all cases, which I mentioned in my post. I see the use of the words without diacritics, and thanks for letting me know what they're called, as sloppy and a sign of little care being put into the work.

3. I was in fact trying to say the opposite of what you understood it to mean. I think I made it clearer, but if I didn't, let me know.

4. Maybe this is true, but I'm going to keep the post up. You could make the argument that blogging is technology, although it would be a weak one. I believe the purpose of the blog is to spread information, and the wonder of RSS is the ease of skipping stories you're not interested in. While it is good to stay on topic, variety is good, and since you found it interesting enough to comment, I hope others liked it as well.

Thanks, I'm glad I could help you!

My Pending folder has the rules "Completed: Is not completed, List or Folder: is not: Someday, List or Folder: is not: Eventually, Repeating: Is Not Repeating, Tag: is not: Suspended, Tag: is not: Waiting On, Canceled: is not canceled". That's where I look when I do my review, and when I don't have anything in Today but I could be working.

Just realized I forgot to thank you for pointing that out, I corrected it in this post and in the long one this links to.

Thanks for the info!

I also use I Love Stars, and want to add an out-of-the-way but useful feature. If you click on the highest star assigned, it changes to a half star. Until recently this was supported by the iTunes database but not the UI, but in 8.0 a hack was introduced to allow iTunes to do this natively (Google it). For example, if you have a four-star song playing and click on the fourth star, the rating will become 3½ stars, like so:
I Love Stars

I use Hazel and absolutely love it. It's managing my schoolwork and numerous other folders. Sure, some of it I could have done with Folder Scripting, but the wonder of Hazel is that I don't have to.

Is that bad, coming from the Applescript Guru? Oh well, you should take it as testimony to Hazel's close resemblance to a bottle of awesome sauce.

I hate to embarrass that big piece of jelly in your skull, but I believe scull is something else–namely oars. Unless you mean that we should use the jelly in our oars?
