My grandmother was 9 when she married her 35 yo husband. They lived happy lives and had many happy children. Whoever came up with the idea that a person needs to be a certain age to have sex was someone (my guess the church) who was more interested in controlling then the welfare of the person. I think Mary was 14 when she had Jesus. If a person is ready to have sex then they should have sex no matter what the age.
