I'd be more apt to want to drink more beer for climate change and i wouldn't even want a government subsidies for it. I would willing buy it myself, but of course they would still have to raise my taxes to buy beer for those 47 million who cannot afford beer on their own.

Not only democrates but also republicans. Liberal socialism is a self eating cancer that has rotted every large empire into oblivion. Our founding fathers did everything they could to warn us about it and gave us a little document from the heavens to refer back to when we follow the path that they knew, all to well, that humanity is doomed to follow.

My sympathies lie in the situation with your daughter, but rallying against the people who are rallying against the government is not the way to 1) get her back and 2) garner any sympathy or support here. These people are not your enemy but you will not get any support through incendiary or inflammatory rhetoric.

My second is that if your situation is true you should be focusing more on what you need to do to get your daughter back and less on what is going on, on this site and who is doing what. Take care of yourself and family first then worry about saving the world. You can’t fix, or help to fix, anything until you fix yourself.

My first is that you come across as relatively young. While that can come with an abundance of energy and a call to swift action, it nevertheless comes also with rash behavior that is usually only tempered with age and experience. There are people on this site that are from every walk of life and all dealing with their own life situations. Nobody will ever agree on every aspect of every issue, but you will find that most here are very open minded and willing to have rational, logical debates and discussions. It doesn’t really matter who is doing what really. Everyone will do what is most comfortable to them and should not in any way, shape or form be degraded for their lack of action, or bandwagoning, as perceived by yourself. You are only responsible for your own actions. Do what you can and let other people worry about what they will do. There is almost 700,000 people signed up to the 9/12 project and everyone is contributing in their own way.

Maybe Ian is a patriot, maybe he is a fraud or maybe he has finally became a “victim” of the system and now knows what the true meaning of having rights stripped. Either way, he is a bit fired up at the moment. I don’t discourage his enthusiasm, but I do believe with some honest conversation he will be able to get his emotions under control. Although I personally have no problem with posting my name, there must be respect granted to all who choose not to, for whatever reason they have. Your mission is commendable, just relax your tactics a little. No one likes to be insulted or downgraded because they are unwilling to yield to “your way”, that is kind of oxymoronic to the cause that this site represents. 90% of people are talk and 10% of the people are action, but that is ok because it is those 90% who will throw their support behind the 10% who can step out and try to make a difference they believe in. Never insult people, they may be the ones who may have to decide to back you or not. Just a thought

Thank you, It is a pleasure to converse on this site. I find most to be open minded thinkers, willing to at least look at all sides, before they either help find reason in a conversation or disappear because the logic makes their head explode. There are ways in the constitution that the house and senate can police themselves, though when they are all in bed together it defeats the purpose. Also, the house can bring impeachment hearings upon the president and the senate would act as judge, but again, with them all in bed together. It is well documented that treason was considered the ultimate capital offence to the founding fathers. Washington had made it openly known that any found guilty of treason or cowardess during the revolutionary war, he would shoot them himself. Not recommended at this time, but it does show how evil they found those actions. My name is now up. A very commendable call Ian.

Your idea is a very good one. My only suggestion is that you learn the constitution very well. Like spottedhog said the majority may not always be what is best. Promise to do only what is constitutionally approved and to fight to bring the federal government back into constitutional standards and mean it. Give people everything they want and they will only demand more. That is why we are where we are today. Check out GOOOh.com. It is pretty much the same idea but on a larger scale with some organization and only pertains to the house of reps. It might be a less costly, more viable way to get to where you want to go to make a difference.

It may be time to start thinking about if we can find constitutional and legal ways to levee crimes against the constitution, country and people charges. Any lawyers out there? We might not make it to 2010 let alone 2012.
