I still use CD's! My CD Spindle goes quicker than my DVD one. I use them as driver disks to give to employees or pretty much anything I am giving away. DVD's are for backups (and movies!) but CD's still do a pretty good job of burning VCD's and AVI files that play in my DVD player @ home!

Why waste the DVD if the data will fit on a CD? I DO use USB drives A LOT more often now as the one on my key chain is a 8 giger... Lots of utils and Simpson episodes :)

I got hit in my office this morning and wrote basically the same article as I went. Funny thing is I spoke to a few other admins and they said they saw a single infection as well...

This has to be the calm before the storm. Be prepared for this one to blow up quickly.
