This one seems interesting. I don't care for Ms. Arterton, since Alexa Davalos is more my type. But Louis Leterrier can make an entertaining movie (see Transporter 1 & 2 and Unleashed and Hulk) so I'm all up for that.

Interesting plot point of the battle of Religion/Faith vs Science waging between husband and wife. Will be seeing this movie.

@robboD:
Um, why would you want to have the same Buffy personality with the remake? If they're making this remake/reboot/whatever version without Joss Whedon, it wouldn't be the same Buffy as before. So if Megan Fox is the new Buffy, it'll be her version of Buffy, not SMG's Buffy by way of Joss Whedon.

The commercial reminded me of DePalma's work on Mission: Impossible.

@I_Love_Film

Seriously, what's the difference between art and crap? an opinion. And I'm not defending Michael Bay as a serious filmmaker (and he is a filmmaker, even if someone doesn't consider him to be good), but it's not easy to deliver something that makes money and entertain at the same time.

RE: dee oni 's comment on The Island

It did poorly in America, but not abroad. The marketing department made the wrong choice to advertise it as a sci-fi film in America, which failed, but when it was marketed as an action film overseas, it was more successful.

What the heck is happening with the comment feature. I'm logged in with OpenID, yet i'm unable to reply to people's comments.

I like it mostly for that fact that it's not another one of those floating head poster. The characters looks more dynamic than ever, especially compared to the promotional stuff for the first movie.
