Micah - very insightful post. As a SW lurker I find it so interesting to see how different people react and perceive the dynamics of the weekend. I think the big question raised by Gwen and yourself is whether SW is a community event/social experiment or a barn-raising company quick-start. As an outsider I see it being more successful as the former and if judged solely for its value as a community-building event and learning experience I think its brilliant. Starting a real CO with the right team, technology, and strategy in a weekend is hard, especially with lots of people with different agendas and opinions. Nice to see some honest comments and discussion. Andrew, I'm waiting for your first book....
