Why aren't the pay cuts coming from the State's bureaucracy? And, echoing others on this board, why aren't college sports programs being cut?

It became evident yesterday evening just who supports the Republicans and their Trojan Horse in the Democrat Party, Walt Minnick. The scumbags outside the Congress who piled racial and sexual slurs upon departing black and gay House Representatives is amply illustrative of just who the Tea Party people really are.

Keep your tea leaves to yourself, baggers. I'll stick with coffee.

As for the reform bill, it's not what I'd thought the Dems would finally pass, but it's a start. Finally.

To the mysterious "lady from Boise:" we already are a third world country. Face facts. From the end of WWII until the 1980s, America was the world's industrial giant. That industrialization created a middle class which today, because of "free trade," stands on the brink of extinction. Red China (yes, Virginia...it is a totalitarian regime.) and India now have America's industrial jobs. And more and more, America's middle class.

So get real. Not even an "Obama" could have gotten us to the bottom of the industrial heap in a mere 14 months.

Republicans did this to us. Aided and abetted, I have to admit, by 'one world' Democrats like Clinton.

We are heading for another civil war.

"The South will rise again?"

I don't think so. I think the coming conflagration will be the end of the American experiment. Driven to its tragic death by religious fundamentalism, something our Founding Fathers put the brakes on in the Bill of Rights, but through bombast, fraud, and yes...murder...has raised its Satanic head once again, determined not to be denied.

This American Taliban's message... America, you will believe as WE want, or else.

As long as Payne is the perpetrator, execute him. The problem about the death penalty is the problem of proof. The State should execute no one without the kind of proof which produces certainty of guilt in any reasonable mind.

Yet another wonderfully fulfilling side-effect of fraudulent, perverse religion. Religion, by any measure of History, is "the World's Great Satan."

Mankind's History literally brims over with the well-intentioned evils of the excessively religious. These wackos are always too willing to believe their own sectarian press clippings. Sort of on the order of "if it feels good, god must be behind it."

And I thought MY family was disfunctional!

The money...is in Idaho's newest growth industry--Corrections. Stop criminalizing everything people do short of breathing...and release non-violent offenders from incarceration. These people can be maintained by a rational parole program once the corruption is excised from Probation and Parole.

This story is, at the least, fresh evidence that everyone out here in the great unwashed needs to carry a gun. Law enforcement is inadequate to protect the public. The bad guys need to know that they're likely to encounter a fire fight if they try to victimize someone.
