Glad it seemed useful. I really hope the wax hasn't caused big problems for Sacha's dreads...and that some of my older naive advice wasn't the source of too many difficulties...
If you need any tips on wax removal, or just anything else to do with dreads from some people with more than 8 months experience, go to the first site on my links page.
It's literally the only site you need for dreadlock info. Apart from mine of course!! :P hahaha

Yeh quitting wax is a real eye-opener, and after just a couple of weeks, the very notion of putting WAX on your precious dreads seems like the most ridiculous idea anyone could have come up with.

Oh yeh I forgot to say - I don't think you have to get an openID to sign into intesedebate. Actually I don't know all that much about it, so maybe openID gives you more flexibility for joining other places. Ok I'll shut up now coz you probably know more than me :P

Glad this place has been helpful to you...and thanks for letting me know; it's amazing to think this tiny spot in web-space gets landed on by anyone! White dreads sound like a good idea...I get the impression that most people stop thinking it's worth doing anything exciting with their hair once it turns grey, which obviously makes no sense at all!
So was it your daughter who inspired you and your partner to get dreads?

Thanks for the insights into the world of crochet hooks; they're not just for grannies then :) The joyous pleasures of the crochet realm still await me, but I'll be sure to write a nice big post about it all when the time comes!

In case I'm not the only one having trouble visualising exactly what's going on with you and your friend the crochet hook and your dreadlocks, are there any enlightening photos you might direct us all to?
