I've got a really fun job right now. God expects no work from me, doing the cold turkey deal, ya' know, where someone knocks on your door and ask to come into your house, usually got three or more with them, and you are too embarrassed to say no, then tell you about the free gift of salvation, and how Jesus died on the cross for ya, the blood of lamb thingy...

I'm WAY past that.

All I do is sit on a fence, and open the door, IF someone wants to come in. OH!! My goodness!! I CAN'T leave out the heart-wrenching prayer, for thanking God, for saving these poor sinners....how could I forget that one?? OH!!! I CAN'T leave out how the three or four, going home, think they did their GOOD DEED for the week.

He wasn't my cousin anyway...I just wanted your opinion, from an outside view, non biased view, ethically speaking. His wife is my first cousin, my mother's sister's daughter, that grew up, in knowledge of Christianity, sit back and did NOTHING for this husband of hers, as he lay dying, but, she loved him betta than dirt!...slaved over that man! I don't know. I never met the man...he never came with Rita, to any dinners. She was always alone. Of course, I don't participate too much, outside of my immediate family. Dealing with them is enough for me...however, I never heard anything good about him. Rita slaved for him, worked her butt off, and all he did was take, take, take from her. She remained loyal to him though, worked two or three jobs, to support the family cuz' he was lazy.____I guess if I was married to some deadbeat bum, I would ignore him too, on his deathbed...knowing me.

Okay, with all said and done about all people having the right and freedom to believe the way they want to, and with our freedom of choice, at this time in our world, to be able to do so, without going to the gas chamber, or tortured unto death, may I express my sentiments and ask for your opinion, regarding a true event, that only happened, a few short hours ago?
My cousin was married to an atheist, for 20 years. Early this morning, in the hospital, dying from Pancreaitis, after suffering for years from it, he requested his wife, fo find him SOMEBODY, to have prayer with. He knew he was dying, and he needed this comfort, in knowing there just may be some kind of hope, for MORE than NOTHING. She refused to do anything and ignored his last dying wish. He died a few hours later, early this morning. This saddens me. We have a right to our belief, and to respect all, but should an unbeliever, decide to change over, especially at his last dying wishes, should he not be given that opportunity also, AND, if he is married to another unbeliever, should she not respect his wishes to give him that last bit of honor, before he passes on?

I certainly thank you for your responses back to me in a timely manner. I certainly can't rebuke or debate your points of view, but I surely hope there is more to life, after life ends, than to even try to imagine nothingness anymore, especially when this life of mine appears to remain a miserable one.

I'd rather believe, and take to heart a more delightful way to think about this, by imagining, that it will be so, and allowing my imagination to entertain my thoughts of believing, oppsed to not believing.

With respect given for your impressive views, I would also like to acknowledge another brilliant man, also an atheist, with one of my favorite quotes from him, to support my own logic, why I am remaining a believer, if you would give me the honor.of sharing this with you.

"“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."
~Albert Einstein, (German born American Physicist who developed the special and general theories of relativity. Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921. 1879-1955)

Are you a Zeitgeist? Actually, atheism has won already, and as 2012 approaches, will continue the major movement against Jesus Christ. Based on varied studies in the Mayan culture, many thousands of years, before Christ was ever born, and their accuracy, regarding astronomy, precise, which means, we are definitely headed into a new age, very shortly to come, however, Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled, as I speak now. ____Our BIG BROTHER is ever increasing every move that we make, and one day, your wish will be fulfilled. Christ will be gone out of this world, and so will HIS holy spirit. ____One major event that will probably occur in the next couple of years is the (RFID) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), a technology that allows automatic identification and data collection through radio frequencies. RFID technology allows to follow products from production on EVERYTHING we buy and sell, only one step from the implanted microchip, EXACTLY, what the Book of Revelations, predicts, in the end of times. One world government is VERY near at hand. How can you deny the deity of Christ when scientists have confirmed it's authenicity, and yet, cannot still figure out the imprint left on it by Jesus?
