Umm... I supposed I'd add an umbrella and warmer jacket. Coming from Des Moines, Iowa to Austin I expected much warmer weather but it was actually significantly warmer in DSM than in Austin when I landed.

Also I'd carry as little as possible - forget the laptop, bag, etc. Just bring your phone, batter charger, and pocket notebook / pen with your biz cards.�

Oh - and take some Emergen-C and a water bottle for catching up on your fluids during the day.

WordPress.com should use similar defaults. It will place your Site title for the title tag and it will use your tagline for meta description. Your options are somewhat limited with WordPress.com but now that you can add premium themes you should be able to use a highly optimized theme like Thesis

We highly recommend using a plugin like All In One SEO Pack http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-se... It has options to set all the meta values mentioned in the post. If you don't want to use a plugin, WordPress by default will insert your site's tagline as the meta description. You can find it at Administration → Settings → General in your admin dashboard

I would almost suggest packaging it with a different child theme altogether to avoid that issue.
