If you haven't read the article in the link...............and you care about the future of America?....you need to take a look at it.

let me share a thought on that reply:

How many of them (even including the so-called 'moderate' muslims) if made to understand p-e-r-f-e-c-t-l-y the utter sickness of the koran (and somehow taking away the brain-washing that - islam 'is a religion of peace')....

beheadings, gang rape of female infidels (after the male members of their families have been slaughtered, of course), crucifixions...the cutting off of hands and feet etc....

and any logical thinking person would know.....that after all of the 'infidels' are gone...they'd turn on each other because that's just the nature of the teachings of that book.

To get people to understand that the so-called peaceful teachings of the koran (there are none...but i digress)......can NEVER justify such brutal teachings.....is where the problem begins.

Linda, I honestly believe that there are many who would leave islam (more importantly, would stop calling it a 'religion of peace' - would stop supporting it)...if made known the actual truth about their koran.

My brain refuses to accept that all supporters of islam would continue doing so if they knew the sickening facts.

Of course there are those, such as that Wright character who knows perfectly what the koran teaches (he's a muslim calling himself a Christian). In that case - one could call him a murderer....and not be lying.

But I do believe that there are many who are supporting islam....who have no idea of what islam is really about. Many muslims understand fully that it is their duty to lie to non-muslims...and I believe they have done a superb job on that end.

With all of that said - I will hold out hope that a rude awakening will come.

It is a fact that the koran preaches slaughtering of infidels.

It is a fact that ht ekoran preaches beheadings and crucifixions.

There is NO defense, no excuse, no justification for those teachings....no matter if you were able to put forth numerous writings that teach the contrary.

And that's the difference between the New Testament and the Koran. The New Testament does not contradict itself:

Rom 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

After that..........there are NO MORE laws given in the New Testament.

I prefer that my children grow up in a society that knows and accepts the teachings of the New Testament. Since the OIC has 57 nations that abide by the laws that you prefer.....maybe you should consider moving to one of those nations. Because you obviously are not able to see the wrong in the teachings of beheading.......an exceedingly wicked act.

There is no middle-ground here Marz - not when it comes to violent teachings.

The truth is that there is every reason to believe that a terrifying number of the world's Muslims now view all political and moral questions in terms of their affiliation with Islam. This leads them to rally to the cause of other Muslims no matter how sociopathic their behavior.
