This country is stupid not to be using hemp for it's domestic properties. The United Sates original Constitution is written on hemp paper, all of the rigging (sails & rope) on the warships at the time were made of hemp fibers as well as all of their clothes. The hemp seeds contain oils for plastic and ethanol production, and the plant will grow in poor soil as long as the sun is bright............for laughs google Henry Ford's hemp car, circa 1939.
The extension of octopus company arms into your 'time off and home time' behavior......even weeks ago is a very unfair company axe hanging over your head.
A friend just lost a job of 18 years and he has a card, and has always been to work on time sick or not.......and only smokes at home and never at work. The odd part is that if he took prescription narcotics for his back pain at work 'it is A OK'.
I heard that they are pondering small 'huggie' type diapers for the birds....
The parks and rest areas are most likely where the tickets will be given out (more violators) The fish plants and draggers (seagulls pick the nets clean) are really going to have a problem if this passes
The seagulls are protesting as we speak forming 'occupy' groups on the bayfront in Newport as well as the beaches.
Seriously folks, a fine of up to $ 720.00 for feeding the seagulls??? Who is going to enforce said law and what happens if a seagull swoops down and raids a sandwich off of the picnic table when your back is turned ??
Seems like there are many more pressing agendas to address in this belly up economy.
Well the wind finally seems to be backing down at Newport a little. Peak gust on Cape Foulweather early this morning at 110 mph. My chimney for the wood stove is cocked sideways but is still working, and I will belay fixing it until the wind dies down quite a bit more (about 45 mph at 1:00) Hwy 20 is blocked between Newport and Toledo with local traffic diverted to Yaquina bay road. Hwy 18 through the corridor is blocked for miles as well as 101 over Cascade Head. Our power was off early this morning for about an hour, and is back up and running. All in all a 'bumpy night ' with little sleep. Please stay off of the beaches folks, as the ocean is roaring and no beach is safe for walking at this time..............Up date, at 1:30 an empty semi truck has tipped over on the Yaquina bay bridge and has both lanes of traffic blocked. An over sized tow truck has been called but is out of this area. The police report that the bridge will be blocked for several more hours.....
Coming to your town soon, as long as 'anyone' can slip, climb, swim, walk.....or order a ride across our wide open territorial boundaries.
Excellent game with punches thrown back and forth and also reminded me of the Oregon Ducks in action
I especially enjoyed Andrew Luck............well....running out of luck..
Hey Jim 'sweet' win for the ducks.............The following game was also interesting, and was very pleased to see Andrew Luck...run out of luck again.............
My question is what happens to billions of dollars in equipment, some of which was 'borrowed' from the National Guard...........On other news, welcome home troops !!
