Ironically less than half an hour ago, one of my friends who's lesbian, who I've been a friend to for eight years despite that, just ended our friendship and blocked me on all the social websites tonight over a discussion about taxes. Just a shout out to people like her: remember to be tolerant of others views if you expect them to be tolerant where your views are different. It's not a one-way street.

I agree with most of what you said. Hate speech won't get you anywhere. I consider myself to be very conservative, and given the chance, I would vote against this. That aside. Everyone deserves to be treated with civility. That is what the Master taught, is it not?

Yeah, that's one thing that peeves me too. I hate the whole micro-transaction scam that they pull on Xbox gamers. The only games I've bought additional content for were Halo 3, Oblivion, MW2, and Mass Effect 2. Even if they would price the DLC content better it would be nice, because $10 for two new multiplayer maps is ridiculous. That's 1/6 of the price of a full brand new game for less than 1/10 of the amount of content you just spent on your $60 brand new game, which is already outrageous.

Maybe she's hoping that the revenue from legalizing gay marriages and the thousands of people who will come from out of state to get married will somehow magically balance the budget... lol...

Oh, I know about the Firefly boxset :) I'm still mad that they discontinued Firefly, though Serenity in 2005 was awesome. There's just so much more they could do with that series... I still think they ought to resurrect it. Gotta love Nathan Filian, he's my firefight voice in Halo Reach on my Xbox (known as Sgt. Buck in the Halo Series)
