Am I the only one who sees the irony that exists when all of this is going on at the very same time that the American government is effectively shutting down Gibson Guitars for violating Indian Law that the Indian government says was never broken?

I believe they are referring to Hillary's "good luck" turning a $1,000 investment into over $100,000 in a very difficult and unstable futures market. This would have been when she was still the "smartest lady in" Arkansas before she was the "smartest lady in the world" and shortly after she FAILED the DC Bar Exams and moved to Arkansas to be with her faithful and chaste spouse ... BJ.

42 million dollars would buy a lot of subscriptions to the Old Farmer's Almanac ... and it is certainly more reliable than any of the computer models to date!

I bet they would have a great time at the Folsom Street Fair! Maybe the Democrats should invite them to a show or two?

Bear in mind, we have lived without the "benefit" of a federal government before ... even in a time of way ... namely during the American Revolution ... I pray it is not, but it may be getting close to time where somebody will water the tree of liberty

What is really going to be fun is when China is the only nation that can finance the UN when it decides it no longer wants those (worthless?) billions of US dollars and China gets the power that comes with those contributions to this loving, trusted and invaluable UN-American institution.

Hang on to your hats people, we are about to go for a wild ride!

Well believe it or not ... and these days have long since passed ... but there was a time when Harry Reid actually did support individual rights for the people living in rural Nevada. Unfortunately, these days we are outnumbered and outvoted by the liberal californicated transplants in Reno and especially in Vegas.

While programs like this do make sense, they are also frightening to a degree. It could very well be (and even these days it is very likely) that all of these people are indeed dangerous criminals. What happens as people grow more accustomed to this though? What happens when political division reaches the point that these types of programs are used to find legitimate people for persecution?

Sound far-fetched? Would you have believed it in the 80s if someone told you that cigarettes would be banned in bars? That the government would force you to bring hazardous materials into your home by telling you what types of lightbulbs you can and cannot legally use?

I am personally curious about the medical "miracle" we witnessed with the Swine Flu and wonder why nobody has mentioned it. We can easily kill bacteria but viruses are known to be relatively immune to our attempts at killing them. Thus we have the difficulties with viruses like HIV and Ebola when they do make it into population centers. (Behavior aside, once the viruses are contracted, they are difficult at best to get rid of because we cannot kill them)

Still, I clearly remember Lysol advertising that it "killed" the H1N1 virus and I was told that back in the states, there were actually two disinfectants that supposedly killed this virus. Is the virus so impotent that it can be easily killed with a can of lysol and if so, why should we worry about it so much. If some medical miracle has taken place and we now have the ability to kill viruses, why isn't it being brought to light?

Apart from that and as for any vaccinations, you can take your needle and shove it ... just not in me!
