I didn't mind DPS so much. I REALLY liked the "dangers of conformity" message. I realize that Keating was somewhat irresponsible, but I thought the movie did show Keating telling the boys not to blow opportunities. To paraphrase - Law, Banking, Medicine - all noble pursuits, necessary to sustain life, but other things are necessary to make life worth living. The suicide was highly manipulative, but all and all I liked the overall message.

It seems like some of these actors actually believe they ARE as smart & clever as their characters they play. Twitter has done a nice job of reminding all of us that without their legion of writers behind them, these people are most likely incoherent self-centered fools. Kinda reminds me of our prez.

Conservative policies should work to remove or at least minimize centralized power to the state. In this way, the government has less ability to dole out favors to those that lobby it endlessly.
Then via a free market and the open market of ideas we could learn what Google is up to and then if we don't like it, we stop using it.
Furthermore, monopolies are more often a result of government intervention than a lack of anti-trust laws.
The Citizens United Case, from what I understand, prevents the silencing of certain forms of free speech. Since the left is always trying to silence the right, and rarely the other way around, it is rather easy to see that I should be on the side of free speech and therefore agree with the decision.
