No one machine is special like a human is. SPOILERS As it turns out, the signal that kills machines was created by the machines to find the base to the resistance. But in the process some machines were destroyed. It didnt matter to them. But when the resistance was faced with the same situation, John Connor made sure to save his fellow men instead of sacrificing them as collateral damage for his cause. The way Scorsese weaves in the supernatural elements is so seamless and effective, especially in one of the final scenes, which holds such poignance, I literally just sat in front of my tv for the entire credit sequence. I always thought this was the generally accepted view. This movie had such a great premise and some interesting ideas concerning evolution and pop culture but Mike Judge kinda let them become muddled in a mediocre story that, on top of that, was very poorly paced which made it almost unwatchable. Luke Wilson was bland as hell and Maya Rudolf sucked as usual. To anyone who is interested, just read the synopsis on the back of the dvd case. Thats the most you'll get out of this movie.
