We call that gerimandering out here in CA. The districts for the House are so lopsided that the Dem's live in a Dem held area, the Rep's in the Rep held area...and no matter how bad these IDIOTS are...we can't get rid of them on either side of the isle.
Add to that the fact that 80% of voters simply vote for whomever has the right letter after their name that agrees with their letter after their name and ....off you got...stupidity...and the voters get what the voters deserve.

Okay...don't you realize that any TAX doesn't matter to a company or country. The tax is always passed down, through, or around to the consumer. So any butt being kicked by the big tax on gas will simply slam the consumer that wants the vehicle. Since China is communistic and the company owns zero and the government just allows them the privledge of being independent in name only....China won't care about paying the tax and then making the consumer pay them back...after all..we owe them so much...they can afford to give us back a few billion in gas taxes. China will just subsidize the Hummer and make it cost like $15,000 so everyone buys them and then laugh as we pay Obama (the stupidest President in history) his gas tax.

Whose head is up whose arse?
Doesn't Hummer make all those lovely military vehicles for our troops?
Wasn't Bush BLASTED for not getting the ARMORED Hummers out to Iraq quick enough?
Do we really think that China, which allowed lethal amounts of LEAD to be used in toys for children, will really take the time to make sure the armor plating is in the Hummer?
Is Obama simply stupid?....wait...scratch that...already proven fact...umm...Is Obama simply ignorant?...umm..nope still self evident and proven fact...Is Obama simply refusing to hide his loathing of the United States? ...nope..already totally open about that one now too...dang...
Oh well..
if it wasn't for the whole life in prison stuff and the Secret Service...I would seriously just walk up to him and slap him silly!!

We believe in the three pillars of federal government - provide a strong national defense (for the Libertarians - yes that means we should pull our troops out of ALL currently peaceful regions like Europe, Japan) - provide a free capitalistic economy with ONLY the absolute minimum needed oversight and supervision (hire who you like for whatever reason you like, charge what you like, make what you like -as long as you don't endanger the consumer, the environment, or be criminal) - provide for the protection of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit (not guaranteed - go work for it you losers) of Happiness (that means from conception to grave the government protects your right to live as you choose - yes that means abortion is a State by State issue, marriage is a State by State issue, education is a State by State issue, wages are a State by State issue)

Cheney is fighting for conservatism with his statements that marriage is a State's Rights issue. Federalism is what every conservative should fight for, it is what we are trying to CONSERVE. Conservatism does not mean "christian evangelical viewpoint". We have let the lefties and the atheists and the fascists define anybody that is conservative as a "right-wing" christian evangelical, bible-thumping, social/moral/economic purist.

That is NOT what conservatism is!! We need to stand up and scream it from the roof tops that Conservatism is what Goldwater and Reagan talked about. Conservatism is STRICT Constitutional application and interpretation! We are Federalist! We believe in Individual rights over State and Federal control. We believe that a "government that governs least governs best." We believe, for the most part, in all the 9-12 values and beliefs.

15- In Conclusion- THERE NEVER were a people called Palestinians!! There were tribal people of a region that the ROMANS called Palestine. They are Arabic people that NOW are living in the area that they occupied with Jews and Christians for the last 1900 years. They have been rejected or pushed out of Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan, and other “brother” Muslim nations over the last 100 years. They have NO RIGHT to claim ownership of a land that was never theirs to begin with. They ALWAYS LIVED under Jewish rule, or a conqueror of the Jews, for the last 3500 years. So they can SHUT THE HELL UP and deal with it or MOVE!

13 – Jewish population continued to increase in ALL areas of the newly divided up region from WW I to WW II and after. The Holocaust left hundreds of thousands without a home to return to so these Jews were grudgingly repopulated in and around Jerusalem, their regional home for the last 3500 years. The region was still called Palestine since the nations of Iraq, Jordan, and Syria were now official recognized as their own states.
14 – 1947 to present. The United Nations, pushed and backed by Great Britain and the United States, in an attempt to prevent any future Holocaust situation, renamed the unincorporated area of Palestine into the new Jewish state of Israel, using a name of the people that had settled there way back in 1500 BC at the latest, 1800 BC at the earliest depending on accounts.

8- Turkish rule – Egyptian rule – Crusader rule. All from around 1030AD to 1291 AD
9- Mameluk rule that gets conquered by the Ottoman Empire…1300 to 1798 AD. Jewish population again began to grow and was ENCOURAGED in the Palestinian regions of the Empire, especially around Jerusalem and the former Judean kingdom.
10 – Napoleon conquered the region, killing large number of all people and faiths. By the 1880’s the Jews were only about 5% of the nearly half million Palestinians of the region. (YES..ALL PEOPLE IN THE REGION WERE CALLED PALESTINIANS EVEN THE JEWS AND CHRISTIANS THERE).
11 – From the late 1800’s into the time leading up to World War I, Jews were encouraged by their religious leaders to return to the HOMELAND. Their population went from 5% to nearly 20% of the region in under 40 years.
12 – British and French rule of the area once again DIVIDED the region into Palestine, Syria, Iraq, transJordan, and other regions. Deals were made, treaties with tribes create, and EVERYBODY LIVED in PEACE…Jew, Christian, Arab, and Muslim.

4- By 164 BC, Israel was once again free and allied with a new empire, Rome, as a "friend of the Senate and Rome", receiving their protection and assistance. The land was now classified under Rome scholars as being multiple lands including the southern kingdom of Judea, the northern kingdom of Galilee, and outlying regions.
5- Rome conquered the area in 61BC. THE WHOLE REGION of little kingdoms was ALL IDENTIFIED as PALESTINE by the ROMANS. There were Palestinian Jews, Palestinian Arabs, Palestinian Roman citizens, and eventually Palestinian Christians.
6- The Romans ruled over the area as Palestine until about the fourth century AD. They put down at least 3-4 major revolts from the Jewish people in that time. After the fall of the Roman Empire in the late 4th century/early 5th, rule fell to the Byzantine Empire.
7- In the 7th century, around 630-640 AD the Arabic tribes with their new Muslim religion conquered the region. Christians and Jews remained there and actually had very HIGH populations in some areas of the former Roman/Byzantine region of Palestine.

Okay..and this goes for all the LAME IDIOTIC UNEDUCATED MEDIA DOOPS out there....READ SOME HISTORY!! Find out what a Palestinian TRULY is and where/when/how/and why ISRAEL was created. In brief for those of you as uninformed and uneducated as some here...

1 - The Israelites first settled in the land of Canaan around 1800-1500 BC. HELLO...over 3000 years ago. They found there several other tribes including Philistines, Hittites, and the Semite people now called Hebrews (who also worshipped the god of Abraham as the "One, True God." )
2 - Over the next 500 years of so, the two people came together and seperated and came together. The land of Canaan included what is today Israel, Jordan, parts of Syria, and Lebanon. It was finally united under King David and then his successors until about 775 BC.
3 - Over the next 700 years, the united nation of Israel was invaded and subjugated by the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Persians (by way of conquering Babylon), the Greeks (by way of conquering the Persians), and then by Alexander the Greats Generals after his death and collapse of his empire.
