Like I said, there are indeed things about his past that are way too liberal for me as well, but your comment about him not defending Christianity was out of line. He was the governor of a very Liberal state and had to bend a bit. Please keep in mind that one of our greatest conservative presidents (Ronald Reagan) started as a liberal Hollywood Democrat and changed his feelings on all kinds of things and came over from the dark side.
