It's shocking to see our representatives in Congress and the Senate ignore what's happening in this country. The mere fact that there is NO ONE in Congress - except for maybe Michele Bachman raising a voice about what's happening is absolutely unbelievable. Just like in every other country run by a dictator - Congress and the Senate will eventually become a useless, bloated rubber stamp. THEIR ancestors would be stunned and appalled at their actions.

You're right, Terri. Our REPRESENTATIVES are refusing to HEAR what we are saying - REFUSING to do what we want them to do. Apparently thousands showing up at various town halls is not enough. I think it has to be MILLIONS marching on Washington.

I never doubted this man would raise everyone's taxes. He's outright lied about everything. Their policies are making everything worse. It's their blatant waste and favoritism which is especially disgraceful. B.O. dared to say "No one messes with Joe', when he put that @$$ Biden in charge of following the money - and then Biden says there's bound to be some missing money. How do you lose BILLIONS? WHY is money pouring out to pay for various projects overseas ? WHY is money going to pay for turtles, rats, mice, bugs, otters and houses, cars and credit cards for people who cannot afford them in the first place? WHY are the hardworking, honest American taxpayers and companies being forced to pay the tabs for illegals, tax cheats and incompetents? The road I live on looks like it's been chewed up and spit out. Businesses have closed. And B.O. is the new King George! He's even going to issue death sentences in their healthcare bill!

They are violating what is IN the Constitution. The government should NOT be in the "business" of deciding whether or not it's lawabiding citizens should live or die. We are guaranteed the RIGHT TO LIFE above all else. We should NOT be subjected to having ANY self-serving group (i.e. ACORN) coming around to "coerce" us into choosing death because they think WE might be a drain on society. We also have the RIGHT TO LIBERTY. Our representatives do not have the right to make us DEPENDENT on the government. We also have the RIGHT TO HAPPINESS - the government does not have the right to tax us to the point we have to deny our own families to accommodate THEIR special interest groups and non-citizen groups.

Remember people - it was over 3000 Americans who were slaughtered on 9/11 - no congress person or senator was killed that day. Had anyone in Congress been killed there'd be no doubt they would take the war on terror seriously. That's the problem. If THEY aren't somehow affected - it's NOT "real" to them. And then they'd be screaming for us to come save them - urging us to join military service, etc. That's how it works - we are EXPENDABLE - the way they set up that healthcare bill - excluding themselves - says it all quite succinctly.

Look at the number of family dynasties in Congress - seats going to spouses, to children and other family members. Chris Dodd's father left congress in disgrace - now he's being looked at too. Look at the Kennedy's (they took Patrick Kennedy our of rehab to vote on a bill). And so many more. Whatever happens in the future - we must put in term limits. Congress has become a haven for corruption and croniism. And they must be made to accept the same rules, laws, privileges or whatever they create for us. And I'd like to see a way to get them OUT of Congress if they violate any ethics - we cannot have them overseeing themselves. It has to be stopped and we cannot let it happen again.

THIS is YOUR tax dollars at work - THIS is YOUR "government" at work. I pre-ordered a book MONTHS ago from Barnes and Noble. It was officially released 7/28 and shipped 7/28 - from Monroe, NJ (I live in North Eastern PA - in the tri-state area NY/NJ/PA). The package arrived in Hebron, KY on 7/30 - it was shipped to Elkridge, MD this morning. I ASSUME I'll be getting my book Monday or Tuesday! And they want to put MY life - YOUR life - in the hands of the people who can't even figure out how to ship a book to a neighboring state?! GRRRRRRR!

Did you EVER think you'd live to see the day our government would have a say in whether a lawabiding citizen could live or die? THAT alone is a direct violation of our Constitution - THE RIGHT TO LIFE LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Criminals appear to have more rights! Which brings up a VERY interesting point. Will convicts get the same heathcare, "end of life counselling", be denied medication, etc.? Anyone see anything in the bill about that? Or does the Euthanasia/ACORN "insurance" continue while they are in prison? Will they get visits from ACORN while in prison?

EXACTLY. They are ignoring us. Glenn has posted that info about the 9/12 march in Washington. MILLIONS will have to show up there - because even though we have 20,000 plus showing up at tea parties on the same day around the country Washington is not paying attention - because it's not affecting them.
