That's what I keep telling everyone. I hear them saying Romney and Hucksterbee and I laugh because these guys are one and the same. They all need to go. We don't need health care reform, immigration reform, banking reform, reform reform. We need government reform and by this I mean reform to the first hundred years of this nation( minus the slavery of course) from an economic standpoint and from a limited government standpoint. Freemen are on the verge of extinction at the hands of these crooks in Congress on both sides of the aisle who worship greed and have no honor. No honor.

So contracted bonuses to employees in times of economic trouble are bad, even though they are in legally binding contracts, but an expensive vacation for the President of the United States at taxpayer expense in a time of economic trouble is just dandy? And this guy is supposed to be Lincoln? During the Civil War Lincoln took steamers down to the front lines and reviewed the troops on a regular basis. He went without the comforts normally given to a man of his stature to show his solidarity and respect to the troops who were sacrificing so much for our beloved nation. He was within sight of enemy troops on numerous occasions to the dismay of his personal guard, but he understood what it was to lead men in a noble and honorable cause. The only time Lincoln and Maobama should be uttered in the same sentence is when people are talking about the greatest President ever and the worst President ever.

Exercise and a poor diet eventually catches up to you as you age and your metabolism slows down. I over-trained for years but was in great shape. As I got older I tweaked my diet to mainly healthy foods and cut out the fast food, pizza, etc., and found that I could stay in really great shape with about half the effort. I would have balked at the thought of less effort when I was a slightly younger man training like a maniac, but as I grew older I realized I wanted to do more than spend hours upon hours in a gym. Now I am in the same shape I was in ten years ago with nearly identical blood pressure, resting heart rate(52bpm) and body weight and I train about 2/3 time and 1/2 the intensity I did ten years ago. Good nutrition was the key. And I love all the time I opened up by training less frequently. Just a suggestion

No doubt. I have been arguing against socialized health care for years with the argument of personal accountability. Do I like getting to the gym three to four days a week and going to three martial arts classes each week? Do I enjoy passing on desserts, limiting my caloric intake and reading labels looking for hydrogenated oils and harmful additives? Actually yes, but I take responsibility for myself and do not expect others to pay for my life. I watch coworkers and colleagues eat, drink and be merry and the majority of those who are my peers (35-45) are in awful shape. Many are on lipitor and take all kinds of prescription drugs, legally and illegally to deal with minor aches and pains that diet and exercise could prevent. I am not paying for these apathetic people who do not care about their own health. People care more about the fuel they put in their car than they do about the fuel they put in their bodies.

Unfortunately this jerk is my Senator. He has the casinos in his pocket which gives him a huge edge. As far as him voting for the bill allowing reciprocity on CCW permits he has to vote yes as much of NV is still rural and gun rights are heavily favored here. I got my CCW in a short time following the application and certification process. My father lives in NJ and knows he has essentially no chance of ever attaining a CCW. What is killing me is all the people who left California for NV because of the high taxes, poor business climate, etc.. They move here and vote the same way and are slowly turning this state into California. Upside is there are numerous groups working to oust him including Nevada Action Coalition ( www.nvaction.com ). I donate time when I can and money when I can. Harry has to go.

After government run health care is instituted we can all speak to our Senators and Representatives about our concerns with the state run system while waiting in line with them to receive health care. Oh. The Senators and Reps will not be going through the same system I will be forced to use? Gee, that's queer. I don't understand. Well at least I'll get to meet famous celebrities like Sean Penn, Danny Glover and George Clooney while I wait for my health care. Oh...they will be paying for their own health care and will be able to bypass the government run system and still have access to the best doctors money can buy? This is confusing.

Don't know how you can call the direction our economy is moving capitalism. Where are these so-called small businesses going to come from and where are they going to get funding? I would love to see it. Who will start them? Have you looked at local strip malls lately? Empty storefront after empty storefront. The revenue the government would lose would immediately have a giant effect. Ayn Rand understood the dangers of socialism and better yet the solution or counter to it. Also, I never mentioned a union, unions are for the weak. I speak of people taking a stand against oppression and acting on something you seemingly do not understand, principle. Like the Boston Tea Party. Walmart can not even begin to account for the services provided by small businesses in this country.

Ayn Rand is far closer to what our founding fathers wanted than the nonsense we have going on today. He is not talking about going on strike. He is talking about the owners of small businesses closing their doors. The people who employ others simply stopping. Any worker can be replaced. When the people who create the jobs stop working and choose not to create jobs any longer, what happens? Some of us are survivors and know how to live without help. Atlas Shrugged would work. The reason it will not is because people no longer understand they actually hold the power. Btw, acting on principle is not for the benefit of society. Worrying about the benefit of society over the individual is what got us into this mess to begin with. Our Constitution was founded under the principle of what is best for the individual, not what is best for society, or as I refer to society, the collective. Lisboncaine is on the money. Small businesses should all shut their doors for a week. See what happens. See how that principle would benefit society.
