Happy Birthday Lindsey and I must say I have enjoyed your view and perspective of this past year as I found your blog shortly after Catalyst last year. For me the birthday thing now has more to do with who I'm sharing it with than what we're doing or where we choose to celebrate. For years it seemed like each year had to top the last, but now just having those closest to me with me marks the moment. Maturing has played a role, reprioritizing my world due to circumstances has had a hand in it as well, but I think appreciating and understanding that each day is a gift (something I took for granted) is what has set the tone lately.

All that being said, celebrate not only your BirthDay, or your BirthWeek, but the entire BirthMonth by filling September with incredible moments shared with family and friends!

Shaun, best wishes and absolute prayers going your way for the endeavor! I was just in Seattle last week tackling a mountain (cancer) of my own at @SeattleCCA loved 68 degree high temp compared to ATL. I also put a email out to a friend from high school who is @howiemmandel 's manager, I'll try to hook you two up for Changing the Game if possible!

I attended the Catalyst One Day Feb 09 at North Point with the hope of gaining some faith centered insight and wisdom on gaining and then sustaining momentum in a down industry within a down economy, but my mind was opened to so much more. This compelled me to attend Catalyst conference last October and was an event filled with experiences I'll never forget. Both radically changed the course I had been tracking professionally, personally, and spiritually. Catalyst 2010 will be one I'm attending and highly recommend regardless of profession or calling.

I bought the Stuff Christians Like book from Amazon but I'm still hoping to find an advance copy or bootleg version on Ebay so I don't have to wait till April!

I started reading SCL over the Summer prior to Catalyst 09, any extra points for watching the Crosspoint TV video-hope so! Great lesson.

Any idea when the breakfast get together you mentioned will kick off in Atlanta?

Tivo/DVR's facilitate my indulgence of these guilty pleasures and are set to follow these characters/personalities such as Coach Taylor, Jack Bauer, Tom Colicchio, Randy Jackson, and Clair Dunphy. Any guesses, some obvious some not so obvious! Great topic to kick off the weekend!

Making a time-centric investment in family has been on my commitment list every year. (VIP’s & family are one in the same in my mind) Just being there for someone doesn’t equal a passing grade; success is them knowing, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you’re efforts have helped them grow personally, professionally, or spiritually further than they couldn’t have had that investment not been made. For me that is the dividend of an investment in someone where the goal is deep authentic friendships/relationships.

Thanks for opening my mind by sharing a snapshot into what God has placed on your heart. Wishing you much happiness and Blessings as you continue on your journey!
