It's a rope-a-dope. Team Obama lowers expectations in the face of a slowly recovering economy, which serves to exaggerate any anticipated gain. When the dolts in the GOP leadership bite, as they are sure to do, Team Obama will be able to point to the "better than expected" employment numbers, claim that progress is being made, and accuse the GOP dolts of obstructionism in a "Do-Nothing" Congress.

It will also be a wonderul opportunity to test the racialist dog whistle canard.

"Those old white racist 1 percenters in the GOP leadership obviously oppose Obama's proposed budget because he's black."

I didn't see the film, but thought the premise was interesting. If it gets people to associate their wages with time, then perhaps they will come to understand that taxation is a form of "time thievery," and keeping taxes low promotes liberty.
