Not really sure. I am not on Worker's Comp and I imagine it varies from carrier to carrier. It would depend on your policy.

1000 mg. of fish oil.

Many medications they give us, can cause emotional problems. Especially depression. If you have been on these for many years, you might want to talk to your doctor about trying something besides medication. That's why I finally had to stop all my medications and find other ways to cope. It took me a few months to totally get off everything and you don't want to try that alone but with your doctors help, it can be done.

Have you ever hear of Calmare therapy? It is having some amazing results for people with RSD and other conditions. It's non-invasive and the doctor can tell right from the first treatment if it will work for you. Alos, LDN (low dose naltrexone) has had some good results. It's not a narcotic or pain medication.

There are many treatments available that you may not have tried. I know it has been years for you, but even long standing cases have been helped.

I would love to hear how it works out for you! Good luck. It is certainly worth a try. If you don't notice a difference, then you can always try other things.

No two patients have the same symptoms. But, check out www.rsdsa.org They have the best information available for everything to do with RSD. Great source of information. Also, <a href="http://www.powerofpain.org

If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to answer them if I can.

Don't get discouraged and do not listen to people or doctors that tell you there is no hope. Many doctors do not understand RSD and how it effects your entire body; so they feel there is nothing that can be done. NOT TRUE! Find a doctor who works with RSD patients.

Learn everything you can about your condition and discuss options with your doctors. There are many treatments available that do not involve drugs or surgery. It's just a matter of being aware of your options.

Best of luck to you! Hang in there!

Yes, I am totally disabled. I have no use of my right hand and my left is also in bad shape. I was in a wheelchair for several years but am now walking with assistance. Being home-bound is hard.

We had to take out a loan to pay for my dental work; we used up all our life's savings for treatments when I was first diagnosed in 2005. It was thousands of dollars but I could no longer eat with all my teeth broken and had got down to a dangerous weight. It was either get some dentures or go to the hospital for IV feedings every week.

Yes. Just get all your documentation together from all the doctors who have treated you. Each state varies on their rules, but you should apply as soon as you can because it is a lengthy process.

Usually by elimination of other conditions. There is currently no definitive test for RSD.

There is a blood test being tested, but as of right now, it's a combination of symptoms and lack of other autoimmune conditions.

The dentist I went to is not related to me. Make sure your dentist is aware of the RSD: protocol for dental work is to do it in parts and additional anesthetic. If done right, disturbing the nerves can be avoided. There are some very good articles on the internet regarding this subject.

This website has lots of articles regarding anything RSD:
