GeekTyrant : Contest: Enter To Win SHERLOCK Season 1 On DVD - News - GeekTyrant

I would like to have Sherlock season 1 because I have been a fan of everything Sherlock since I was about 6 or 7 when I first saw the Young Sherlock Holmes. From when the first trailer for the new Sherlock Holmes movie was released to when the dvd came out, I was defending the story and dropping knowledge on people about how the movie kept to the books. The story itself wasn't one of the stories but it fits within the Holmes timeline and personalities of both Holmes and Watson were dead-on. It was amazing to have Professor Moriarty in the movie since in the books you don't learn of Moriarty until the, well I'll call it the first ending, don't want to spoil things. I heard about this show when I was at NYCC this year but missed the panel showing a sneak peak. Also for my loss, I didn't know the show aired on PBS and thought it would be BBC only. So to keep me to date and save me from my embarrassment I would very much like Sherlock season1 on DVD. P.S. - Sherlock has only ever said "Elementary, my dear Watson!" once in the books.

GeekTyrant : GeekTyrant - News - Infographic: The 5 Levels of Inception - Contains Spoilers

And don't forget when Cobb as teaching Ariadne. They were in her dream and she was in control of the structure but he was the subject matter brought into the dream along with his subconscious. Fischer being the primary subject matter his subconscious was populating the levels. And during their work out of the plan while they were in the "dream" all together with Ariadne changing the layout, did you notice that no one else was there? No subconscious to populate it. Somehow they figured how to keep their own subconscious out and to only work with Fisher and his. And the further down in levels they went the fewer people there were populating them.

No no no, Ariadne wasn't meant to come with them on the plane for the mission itself. When she convinced Cobb that they need her he told Saito to book another seat. She forced herself in from before the first level telling Cobb that he needs someone else around who can recognize his subconscious.

They don't need to die to enter Limbo. Cobb and Mal were the first to enter Limbo and they did it through heavy sedation. And it was there that Cobb implanted the thought in Mal that none of it was real which stayed in her mind even when they returned to reality and she still didn't believe it was real. And the city in Limbo was created by Cobb and Mal but the part that was being washed away were the buildings Mal had created without Cobb knowing the complete structure so like a dream it fades away.

The way I saw it was that Ariadne created the structures of the three levels during the time they were working out the plan. It also showed scenes of her explaining the different layouts she had created to the people who would be dreaming them. The first level was Yusuf's dream so he created that structure, then Arthur, and last Eames. Ariadne wasn't in the plan to come along but she insisted to Cobb that she come because only she knows what Cobb's suppressed subconscious looks like and how to keep him from being taken over by it or Mal.

GeekTyrant : GeekTyrant - News - First Look: Chris Hemsworth as THOR

Realistic? He's a comic book character based off a Norse god. And the suit being iconic what sense would it be to not have it in the movie? Even the Thor of Norse mythology was depicted either wearing a tunic or just a cloak of animal fur or a kilt made of animal fur not bronze or steel armor. Realism doesn't apply to fantasy.

GeekTyrant : GeekTyrant - News - Bryan Singer talks X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and Possibly Directing X4

Ice Man was on the original team, yes. But for the movie it wouldn't make sense to have him there. Since he was a student in the first X-men movie. My guess for the new team would be Cyclops, Jean Gray(Marvel Girl), Hank McCoy(Beast), Storm, and I think it would be awesome if they brought in Mimic since he was the first recruit after the team was formed in the original 1960's X-men.

GeekTyrant : GeekTyrant - News - Tim Burton Directing THE ADDAMS FAMILY in Stop-Motion 3D

I'll more than likely go and see it. Big Burton fan, even bigger Addams Family fan, stop-motion fan, and a really big fan of Gomez. I know it's going to be stand alone to the TV series and the 90's movies but I don't believe that anyone can be a better Gomez than Raul Julia was.

GeekTyrant : GeekTyrant - News - FOX to Develop a U.S. Version of TORCHWOOD possibly DR. WHO as well

I can get behind the idea of a Branch of Torchwood being started in the US. But I cannot get behind a US Doctor reboot. The BBC Doctor episodes just need to be released on an actual channel in the US that people have easy access too not a channel that you only get with the most expensive package deal. Like Blaine said "it will probably get deconstructed and nothing iconic will make the transition" what would they make the TARDIS? The US didn't have Police Boxes in the 60's the only thing that comes to mind that was iconic at that time were the old phone booths. I just don't see a US Doctor ever happening.

GeekTyrant : Paul W.S. Anderson wants to adapt METAL GEAR SOLID Movie

I agree that Anderson shouldn't direct a possible MGS movie or Castlevania. Even though I do like the RE movies because they are different from the games. **Rant**I don't want to pay to see a video game movie that is 2 hours of what took me 6 hours to do. I would be frustrated that they make it look so easy to get through it all in 2 hours and that the only difference is they are actors and not voice actors and animation.**Rant Over** But I do have a director suggestion for MGS the movie, Paul Greengrass. He directed Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum, and his new movie Green Zone is looking really good right now. And for Castlevania I suggest Guillermo Del Toro as the director.
