Its good to hear that "NO ONE APOLOGIZED". I was worried Crowley was going to apologize for doing his job. I get a kick out of thinking about Obama and Gates sitting there expecting an apology from Crowley and never getting one. Crowley was justified in his decision to arrest Gates and I am glad he hasn't backed down from his decision and continues to stand up for himself.

People need to stop viewing obesity as a hopeless disease that they can't do anything about (ever seen "The Biggest Loser"?) It takes a lot of work to be healthy but the rewards outweigh the costs. Being healthy is an individual thing everyone is in charge of what happens to their own body, it is a right. if people are blaming their obesity on society they are only coming up with excuses for being lazy.......LAZY.
I am reminded of a quote from the movie "Knocked Up" when Jill says:
"We don't want you to lose weight, we just want you to be healthy. Y'know, by eating less."

Texting is definitely not the problem. There are people out there that are unable to regulate themselves, unable to understand that they should not be texting when driving in heavy traffic or when driving a "big truck". Driving conditions change all the time, and are different depending on the area. If I am driving on a rural road with low traffic I don't see a problem with sending out a text message that takes about 10 seconds to complete. I think I have the ability to glance down at my phone and text a message. However, I would not feel comfortable texting during rush hour on the freeway. Texting while driving can be dangerous in certain situations. People need to have common sense and regulate themselves.
