You just don't see the bigger picture. Anyone aligned with Obama gets to run a business. That includes General Electric... It's not a problem if you're connected to the right party. Ever notice how coal plants are going to be going offline soon, but not Al Gore's "clean coal" plants? The political right is under attack and they're getting hit hard at their financial source. It's a complete totalitarian takeover, and the energy sector is just a small piece of the bigger pie. Wake up and stop being fooled by the propaganda outlets that tell you nuclear energy is bad and every power plant is going to blow up. Yeah, you're definitely right about the trust issue. I'm much more skeptical than most and don't believe there is anyone in the church that shouldn't be held accountable or given a litmus test at any given time. Every once in a while, even something like this will come along. Me thinks I'll have to reconsider the website bookmark. We're on the same page in regards to how I'd define a cult. Interesting that you say this... I've been reading articles there for a while and it does seem they have their sources (from the Bible) straight. I'm very discerning and critical of the motive behind the message (especially in a brick & mortar church) and I'm not sure whether Armstrong had claimed or tried to be a 'prophet' of any sort. The website likes to say "he was right!" quite a lot though I have to admit. You might be on to something in your second paragraph, though. I do have to say I gain good insight from their "living" section. I also have to admit it's quite difficult finding anything that *isn't* misleading nowadays. Lastly, I do look back as you put it, but with this site they don't necessarily give end-time dates or claim to talk to the virgin Mary, etc... nor do they sell any products. I'll keep my eyes peeled on all that. Thanks for the insight.
