I didn't care. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the fact that she faces bigotry. That's upsetting. I raised her to be herself. I raised her to be smart, thoughtful and a good person. Guess what? She is.

And quite frankly for you to compare being gay to physical deformity or mental disability is appalling.

When my daughter told me she was gay, I hugged her, thanked her for trusting me and being honest, and told her I loved her. Meanwhile, some parents "explain" to their children that they're going to hell and they aren't loved any more.

I'll stick with my way of thinking, and hope with all my heart that yours goes the way of the dinosaurs.

This is getting really old. Presently two consenting adults can get married. The "opposite sex" rule has been dropped, as it should be. Period.
