Heh. Different McHale. Let's just say he's a very bad man who did a very bad thing and needs to have this explained to him with the rapid application of blows to the face ;)

Nope, blogging is still highly relevant. You only have to look at the Iran situation as well as Chinese censoring to see how important it is. For us in the western world though, blogging becomes, at least with personal blogs, a way for our trust network to go a little bit more indepth than FaceBook and Twitter and texts and to opine on stuff. We trust the people in network and build on our experiences and wants and desires, so a blog is a good place to link, show examples of something, or to introduce/discuss new ideas/products/concepts.

Or like me you could just post into the wild and hope someone reads it ;)

I thought about it, but I've already got the all three games (first two on GameCube, last on Wii) and I generally tend not to rebuy games if I already own them (although there have been a couple of exceptions). I suppose if the price drops even and I get a good deal I might do it just to have it all be in one package instead of the three. What about you?

Awesome!

This also just goes to show that Sony has sorely underestimated the draw of the PS2 towards what they consider the end of its lifetime. There's still a huge catalog of games for it that are easy to find, great gameplay, and the console is a solid performer. Personally I won't upgrade to a PS3 unless it includes decent backwards compatibility when I can replace my PS2 to play the 200 games I own when my current unit dies.

It's the same one as last year, alas. To see if that was true, I showed it to the Festival Hat maker and he recognized it as one I already hadd.

It was a bust. All the kids came down sick and we never got to try. We're going to try this week or next, sans double points.

Probably have an invite system that will warp a friend to the location so they don't have to run them. All missions are instanced anyway, so doing so should be easy.

In a number of ways, the GW1 already caters for this as long in PVE as you can run a character to the appropriate city/town and the campaign has been purchased. We did this with characters for my son and daughter to allow them to grow in experience quickly by taking them to Lion's Arch and then into Cantha so they could fight level 20+ characters and level more efficiently. We don't play PVP, so I'm not sure how it would affect that.

This will probably only work if you haven't maxed out on the non-Hard mode points, which is where the wife and I are at. I think we'll try to do some Hard mode this weekend to get some points.
