I have been following this family on TLC for four years now. The Duggars are "Quiverfull" and believe it is wrong to prevent pregnancy in any form. They are self sustaining and live very, very well (partially thanks to having a reality show). They aren't a burden on society and I say to each his own if it doesn't come out of my taxes. I just hope other families in the "movement" realize that they are the exception not the rule (especially financially speaking). And, I hope they take pause when considering more children. The "18 Kids" boards are all about doctors warning them of the dangers to both mother and child should they continue to procreate. I pray Josie is one heck of a little fighter!!

Good Point RepublicanMom...How they (food stamp recipients) can afford membership is beyond me. I dropped my Costco membership last year ...too many steep rises in membership cost! Sam's Club is better (imho) and if you look into it, you can usually get a great deal/discount on membership.
I've read comments here on her being divorced etc...Who says she was ever married to the bio-dad? While divorce is always hardest on the children, they rarely end up in this horrific scenario. I would bet this month's mortgage "mother" is into drugs with boyfriend and the only reason the child wasn’t on the "streets" is because she gets public assistance for him. She treats her child like garbage, but she's the real trash here!!

As an Amrican of Jewish heritage....I say "God go with you Mr. Netanyahu"! Israel is always in my prayers.
I think I am surprisingly "heartened" that an (terrific) actor in Hollywood would address this issue on Big Hollywood. Kudos!
