Keith, I saw this lock while out shopping this weekend...and I have to admit that the Konami code was the first thing I thought of as well...scary.

Keith, I thought of our conversation last week about Kevin Spacey while watching the opening of HIMYM last night. What's in the BOX? What was funny is that they had pretty much the same reaction as you did....what the hell is she talking about?

BagOfNothing.com : Actors Recreate Their Best Roles

How could you not include the one of Kevin Spacey with his leg up on a box? That one was easily my favorite. I like the way the references were subtle, for the most part.

Geeding: I bought myself a Sony Reader a couple of months ago, and it has been the greatest thing I have owned since DinoBots. I read every single day, and always have something with me to kill time, no matter where I am. It is small, very portable, and very easy to read. Plus, if you get a Sony, you can check out digital copies from the Frisco Library for two weeks, so you have a ton of books available to check out at any time...dude, you need to rethink your stance on the e-readers, because they are flat out awesome.

I was "noticing" the Tampa Bay cheerleaders' uniforms as well. Their outfits are GREAT...I was also thinking that it was unfortunate that the Cowboys' cheerleaders can't really change their uniform...That is a luxury that other teams' cheerleaders have that the Cowboys don't. If you changed the Cowboys' cheerleaders uniforms, there would be outrage!

The show itself wasn't that great. But, seeing Jason Segel, Seth Rogen, and James Franco get their careers off the ground (as well as being produced by Judd Apatow) was pretty cool. There were some pretty funny moments, including a Shia Lebeouf cameo in one (when we was 14 years old, 90 pound weakling) where he was funnier than most of the cast.

I like the HIMYM one, but it has shrunk as the seasons go by. It used to be much longer, but I would much rather see 20 seconds more of Barney Stinson than hear the song one more time. Bit Bang's is great (my kids love to sing along to it and mess up the words).

I mostly just fast-forward through them anyway, but I do like the music behind 30 Rock. Nice and jazzy.

Do you remember the opening for Freaks and Geeks? That one was pretty good.

Yeah, Keith...that one was a little too easy. On that note, isn't it sad that the theme song of a show is kind of a dying thing? As the shows try to squeeze more "show" into their time slot, the theme song opening has kind of died off. I miss seeing Balky and Cousin Larry running around Chicago, and the Tanner family driving around San Francisco, and the whole intro thing where the actor is doing something, stops and smiles at the camera, like "Oh, you got me!". Those were great!

As far as casinos go, Winstar is great. The whole "largest" casino thing is probably true, because it is HUGE. It would take you about 30 minutes to walk from end to end, but that is what makes it great. Even when the place is PACKED, you don't feel that crowded and there are plenty of slot machines and tables to play. IMO, it is better than anything that Shreveport has to offer, except that they charge a $.50 per hand tax in card games, and that adds up pretty quick. I thought I would hate it, but it is actually really nice...and you get free soft drinks!

BagOfNothing.com : Pondering ooma

You are right, you do need to have your computer on all of the time to receive phone calls, but the only reason we really have a home phone line is so the kids can call us during the day. Otherwise, we would totally get rid of it. If you rarely use your home phone, you should sign up to get a google voice account, which gives you a new number that you can block callers from (particularly telemarketers) and will ring all of your phones at one time (so, you can give it as your "home" number and both you and your wife's cell phone will ring). There are a lot of cool things you can do with it. Anyway, I do like my magicjack, but if you do use your home phone at all for business, I would steer away from it. It is great as a supplemental line, but I wouldn't use it if you spend a ton of time on your home phone.

I have been using MagicJack for a year and it has been great. Sure, it isn't high quality, nor is it something that I rave about, but it has been very solid. If you don't use your home phone very much, I highly recommend it because it is next to free.

10 bucks says it is your battery. Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, took the battery to O'Reilly's, and they confirmed it. They said that they get a LOT of dead batteries this time of year because of the heat.
