Agricultural is PA's number one industry. Peg has a ag message, Peg attend the PA Ag Republican's Annual meeting at the PA Farm Show. Where was Toomey? He has been campaigning for over a year and still could care less about ag.

I find it very interesting there are 4,959 face book members supporting the nativity in Chambersburg, but the media only gives the other side of the story.

I can honestly say I have met him three times, and he has the fire in the belly that is needed to win. Other than that I have not seen anyone overly eager. As far as info, I was tied up in the 2009 judge races and I am now ready to move onto 2010.

GrassrootsPA : Scranton council passes 48 hour lost or stolen gun reporting...

So Derk and Kantz fired the EMA director, with a law suite pending, then they put together a board and did a search which took months, and hired the EMA Director who was not state certified and said he was not going to go for the training (I don't know if he did or not), now they left him go. What a waste of money! They hired the Chief of Clerk back, who quit or would have been fired, at $55,000, more than he was making before and gave him a raise. I'm wondering who will be cut in the Commissioners Office? What happened to the million dollar surplus they had going into office? Can the county operate without out a EMA Director and if so, why did we spend the time and money for a search? If other offices are being cut in hours why was not the Prothonatary or DA's offices cut? These are the days of our lives in Snyder County . . . .

A great job????????????? Have you been following his record? Did you see his violent streak in the you tube? Carney's very first vote was to fund embryonic stem cell research with tax money. That was his first vote and it's been down hill since.

He never beat her! Yes he had her, but he was giving her a back massage. Did she go to the hospital? No. Did she have bruise marks? No. Had he beat her, yes he should have gone. The fact that he lied in the beginning about her is what did it. If he would have come clean in the beginning I wonder if thing would have played out differently? Regardless, HE SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD A MISTRESS TO BEGIN WITH! But to say he beat her without any proof is absurd.

The talk at the Lewisburg Tea Party yesterday was the fact that Carney visited the place where Billie worked the day after the town hall meeting. Billie was in his office with the door closed. The entire two hours Carney was at the business he kept saying about the guy who was a the town meeting last night how he was going to punch him. He was ready to punch him. He just about punched him. His comments were heard by several of Billie's co-workers. Great Congressman! Do we want a violent congressman? 2010 and is just around the corner!

GrassrootsPA : WNEP meteorologist’s 'joke' not so funny to Broadway Theatre League...

I wonder if Hosea the dysfunctional leprechaun is available? If's not off hunting for his pot of gold, maybe he could appear in the backyard wearing his pajamas and playing games in honor of the latest theater production, 'The Pajama Game.' Ticket sales would have been no different if Joe had not said anything. If the Producer cannot own up to it, maybe he should not be in business and STOP BLAMING JOE! Joe is with a large percentage of people who "are not theater people." The other bunch of people are in the category of either not being able to afford it, or cutting back and the theater will go before food. I'd be interested in seeing what the tickets sales are from "The Pajama Game.' Joe has not said anything about this production, but I'd bet sales are down also. It sure is good the "otter" did not eat the tickets when Joe dropped them in the pond! I'm sure the "predator" was mighty hungry since Rob stole the fish. We love Joe! That's why Channel 16 is doing so well and Channel 22 is no longer doing weather.

GrassrootsPA : When it comes to women in politics, PA ranks low...

That's another gripe I have with State Committee. If you have two candidates who are men or two candidates who are women and they are the best two candidates, they why should we have an unqualified person, or a person not of our values in State Committee representing us just because of their gender? I cannot comprehend this. In Snyder we only have one State Committee Member, so it's not a problem. But in other counties it can be.

GrassrootsPA : WYOU to cease news broadcasts after Friday night...

I'm a channel 16 girl . . . I have to have my Joe Snedeker to get my day going. Without the heads, Hosea the dysfunctional lepercon, Rob Rave, the bike rides with Joe, freezing a snuggie, tackling the mascot, etc it's just the weather. Maybe channel 22 should have tired something different. In so many groups I'm associated with they want to know how can we bring new, young people in? When a suggestion is made, "oh we can't do that, we have done it this way for fifty years." Maybe that was Channel 22's problem? Go Joe Go!

GrassrootsPA : Shogan drops out of Supreme Court race...

When my husband ran for State Committee he promised to hold the elected officials accountable. Which is what he did at the last State Committee meeting when he called for the roll call vote to be made public. Gleason said it would and always has been, which is an outright lie. Lawyer Lawarence said if you wanted the roll call results you could get them off of tv. PCN conveniently cut out the roll call vote. When talking with Orie-Melvin she said she was not aware it was not public and should be according to what Gleason stated at the meeting. She was encouraged to contact Gleason, when I sent an email questioning if she had done so, I received not response. If you forgot how the endorsement process went done here it is on utube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYcvSzXKNG4. The Scarnatti letter really burned my bridge! I fought all weekend for Joan with a voter who does not have a clue to the political process. Then the letter arrived. When I called her and asked if she knew about it and what she was going to do about it she told me she did not know about it and planned to do nothing as she was supportive of it. Don't you think if she knew nothing about it she would have asked for a copy so she knew what I was talking about? I was on board with Jackie. I guess I now have some questions for Cheryl and hope to see her at PLC.
