pastapadre.com : NFL Conference Championship Preview

If the real team, I am guessing you are referring to the Vikings, could hang onto the ball then they would be going. And to say they don't deserve to go is garbage. They won in the only stat category that counts -- The scoreboard...

Are you serious? Because a game didn't predict the actual winners it is reason to say it fails? The Vikings SHOULD have won. They dominated in every aspect. The Jets had every opportunity to win that game. No one would have thought they would have been up 11 points on the road. Just more idiocy....

pastapadre.com : EA Sticking With Tiger Woods

When did McNair grace the cover of Madden? Stating that every athlete is a drug smoking, sex addict, law breaking citizen is a bit much. There are a ton of great athletes who carry themselves as well off the field as they do on the field. It's not so much the issue of Tiger doing a bunch of honeys, it's the fact that he was married when he did it. To many families who buy these games this is a huge issue. Why EA would stick with him is ludicrous. I would rather EA go back to PGA Tour Golf then stick with Tiger. I wish nothing but the best for Tiger but it sends a bad message....

I personally don't care who wins either game since I like every team involved. One thing that is missing from the Jets - Colts equation is the ability of the Jets to run the ball. And everyone stating that Sanchez isn't a QB that can make a difference, someone please talk to the Chargers defense....He was the reason they won last week. He made solid throws when he needed to.

I agree. 3D, itself, is old tech but the new tech is going to take 3D into a modernized direction. No more red / blue lenses in the glasses and TV's that actually support this technology opens the world to numerous possibilities....Video games are about immersion and 3D games, if done right, will enhance that immersion....

I wonder if Arch Rivals will find its way to the current generation of consoles...Other classic arcade sports games I would like to see available for all consoles: 1) John Elway Football -- I dropped major coinage into this machine 2) Double Dribble 3) Baseball Stars (not sure if SSK is owned by Nintendo) 4) NHL Rivals (I think that is what it was called...2-on-2 hockey) 5) RBI Baseball (Again, another title made popular on Nintendo's home system)....

As long as they don't try to make this another NBA Street game and keep to Jam's roots....I wouldn't mind a graphical upgrade with the game's core play with the original arcade version available within the game....

It looks the same but better. The player faces are outstanding and the player animations look so natural. I also noticed that the batting helmets look much better, especially the logos... First thing I am doing with The Show 10 is trading Granderson back to the Tigers.... I agree that The Show doesn't need much of a visual upgrade. SCEA has done an outstanding job with this franchise. Every year they have released tons of information early to wet that baseball appetite and this year is no different. The presentation needs to be updated (which they have done per the game specs released last week). I am a huge fan of MVP. It is a shame that those that own a 360 can't experience this. Fortunately I have both...I strongly recommend to those that love baseball games, if you have the spare cabbage go pick up a PS3 before March....

pastapadre.com : Madden Ultimate Team First Impressions

I like the MUT. It provides an alternative way to play Madden. Although there may be time invested in earning cards, you are doing what the developers want -- adding shelf life to the game... Pretty cool feature that can be expanded upon in future Madden's....I agree that I would like a TeamBuilder mode so you can design your own uniforms and maybe a StadiumBuilder that would allow expanded customization of user-created stadiums....(If EA creates StadiumBuilder, I want royalties...hahaha)....

Yah....I have played Madden since its inception and the game looks and plays incredible. Again, just another example of one's expectations being a bit beyond reality. Your list has zero to do with gameplay. In-game saves, replays and halftime show make the game terrible? Get real....

I would have chosen The Show 09 over Madden although I know the online play was trash. Madden 10 is a sweet ass game, which I am still playing. As much as people want to hate on EA Sports, the games were much improved. Hopefully, 2010 will see even a bigger improvement....
