Orson Scott Card was my hero. And then I realized what a douchebag he is and honestly, it comes through in his more recent work.

I could go on for pages, but to save everyone my tirade, I agree, he's a jackoff.

When I heard about all this stuff a week ago, I had just gotten all of my old Dilbert books out of storage and was planning to read them. I picked up Shave the Whales and honestly, I don't find much of it funny anymore. I look at it and see all sorts of problematic things the characters are saying in it and that's sad, because those comic books were some of my favorites.

I was always happy they didn't kill off Boba Fett. He was my favorite character and I enjoyed the part he was later to play in things like the Young Jedi Knights.

I stopped watching any movie Nicholas Cage was in (I made an exception for Kick-Ass) when I saw Next. That was the last straw.

Honestly, I thought Michael Caine really was doing the voice over. I'm still surprised he isn't. It's like they were trying to get all the positive feeling Michael Caine invokes without having to have him on the payroll.

I like Hijinks Ensue: a hatefilled Pineapple because it makes it sound like lots of comic collections from my youth. Either way, though, I think going with the Fox executive is the way to go. He's one of the best supporting characters, aside from our murderous hobo friend.

I've missed Boxcar Pete so much! I'm glad he could come and share the magic of Thanksgiving with Josh.

I'm also glad Josh was able to repay Boxcar Pete's gift of a story by making sure he gets a nice holiday meal.
