Theres still a long way to go in the league. TBH Madrid have so far been the best team both in league and CL. They are playing great and scoring a lot of goals.
But Barca is more than capable of beating them twice in the El Classicos and overturning the deficit.
My concern is that Pep doesn't rotate the squad, Messi is playing too many games, you can tell he needs more rest.
We just don't have the same intensity as previous seasons. But all good things come to an end, we can't go on dominating the world forever, already 3 years with Pep Guardiola, Barca stayed on top of the world as the best team.

Yes I agree. Messi is not the best penalty taker, in Barca. He looks nervous when he takes it, and always slow and low.
Villa would be better imo.

Why not? its a team game, of course it would have been a spectacular goal had he done it, but if he passed to Villa who was asking for the ball, and no one marking him it would have been one-on-one with keeper...and possibly goal. Just saying Messi sometimes needs to choose the right pass when in 18 yards box.
Against Valencia he could have pulled the ball back for Xavi (who was angry at him after).
despite this he is still the best scorer and assister maybe we rely too much on him sometimes.

well dont give me negative comments but Valencia showed that it is NOT impossible to stop Barca and their midfield domination, Barca played with 3 defenders, hence 5 midfielders in that game, so they should have had over 70% possession and won the game but no. Valencia more smart than that, the players worked together and put pressure on the defense from the goalkeeper all the way to forwards, thats why so many bad passes from Barca and only 56% possession.

well it will be the group of death but other 3 teams will fear their elimination when they play Barca, we can beat them all, City will be difficult though with their signings.
